摘要: 由于网际网路的盛行,许多网际网路服务提供者(ISP-Internet Service Provider)逐渐兴起,成为一种新兴的行业。他们提供使用者连接网际网路最典型的方式就是电话拨接网路,由使用者使用电话配合数据机拨接上网。但电话拨接网路的速度不仅过慢,而且还占用电话线,因此本论文提出了一套建构安全的无线拨接网路环境的方法,提供使用者更高速的网路环境,且不必使用电话线,又能随时随地的连接上网。
本论文采用无线区域网路(Wireless LAN)为我们无线拨接网路的基础架构,使用动态分配网际网路位址(DHCP)的方式来分配使用者电脑的网际网路位址。我们将在无线区域网路基地台(Access Point)上实作一个网管系统,在我们无线拨接网路上实作认证伺服器与计价伺服器,使得只有在认证伺服器中被授权的使用者才能够透过本网管系统存取网路,且本网管系统会自动将计价的资讯传回给计价伺服器,以达到自动计价的功能,方便网际网路服务提供者计价。
Due to the rapid growth of Internet, many Internet Service Providers(ISPs) spring up in Taiwan. The typical way of their Internet service is for user to subscribe an ISP and use modem with telephone to dial up Internet. But the transmission rate of telephone dial-up network is too slow and users can't use telephone at dial-up time. This thesis proposes a secure wireless dial-up network environment to replace traditional telephone dial-up network, because wireless dial-up network environment can avoid using telephone line and it can provide higher transmission speed.
This thesis uses Wireless LAN to be the basis architecture of our wireless dial-up network environment and uses Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) to allocate internet address to dial-up users. We will implement an access control system on Wireless LAN Access Point(AP) and an authentication server with a billing server on our wireless dial-up network environment. The access control system will only allow authorized users who authenticated by authentication server to access network and it will transfer billing information to billing server automatically.
