摘要: | 行動通訊在矽基底CMOS類比電路設計上已形成一種潮流,在高頻傳送接收端的ASIC整合上,將射頻、類比和數位電路做在一起被認為是在單晶片整合上最好的結構。對於設計上的整合來說,傳統的射頻電路設計方法應該與數位設計流程做一個協調。這篇論文提出了模組化CMOS射頻積體電路設計的方法。眾所皆知的,將射頻電路在現有的標準製程上做設計,其元件的設計會對射頻電路有很大的影響。這□所提出的模組化CMOS射頻積體電路設計是以傳統的邏輯設計為依規。 其兩種設計流程以及模組化設計方法和其應用將會在論文中做討論,所提出的設計是用0.25μm的單層多晶矽、五層金屬繞線和0.35μm的雙層多晶矽、三層金屬繞線的CMOS製程。而提出的設計應用是著重在2.4GHz頻帶IEEE 802.11規格的系 Mobile radiotelephony is becoming a driving application for analog circuit design using silicon CMOS. For the ASIC integration of a radio transceiver, the integration of RF, analog and digital circuits was regarded as the optimum architecture to obtain the maximum per die integration level. For design integration, conventional RF design methodology should firstly be harmonized with the digital design flow. In this thesis, cell based CMOS RF IC design methodology is proposed. As well known that device design have great impact for RF performances, while, for integrated design under consistent process, the proposed cell based RF design is targeted on conventional logic process. Both design flow, cell design methodology, application specific design will be discussed. The demonstrative design is under .25um 1p5m and .35um 2p3m CMOS process and the design application is focused on 2.4GHz band 802.11 application.
