Abstract

We report the use of oxygen vacancy-rich CuO-ZnO inverse opals to strikingly enhance the performance of catalytic methanol reforming reaction with a ratio of 1 : 0.125 : 1 (H2O/O-2/MeOH) at a low reaction temperature of only 230 degrees C, yielding complete conversion of methanol, high hydrogen production rate, ultralow CO formation, and outstanding stability.
