Abstract

This study demonstrates a novel filterless frequency quadrupling technique for optical millimeter-wave generation and WDM up-conversion. After transmission of 50-km SMFF, the sensitivity penalty of each channel is less than 1.5 dB. (C)2008 Optical Society of America
