Necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of block decoupling controllers

Abstract

We study block decoupling of linear multivariable system under unity-feedback configuration. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of stabilizing block decoupling controllers. The conditions are simple and straightforward.
