Abstract:	This paper presents new methods for subjective mental workload assessment and fuzzy risk analysis, in which simplified fuzzy number arithmetic operations are used for subjective mental workload assessment and fuzzy risk analysis. The proposed methods can provide useful ways to handle subjective mental workload assessment problems and fuzzy risk analysis problems.
