Abstract: The tracking problem for a manoeuvring target with correlated measurement noises is considered in this letter. A modified manoeuvre detection method with the decorrelation process is employed for tracking the manoeuvring target. From computer simulation, it can be seen that the system performance can be improved significantly if the effect of noise-correlation is considered.
