Abstract: 積體電路製造最顯著的特色之一,就是高度利用資訊科技。從製程的第一 站開始,往後的數百個製程,都是經過高度電腦化控制的設備,混合著人 為操作,半自動及全自動作業。本研究先就有關的主題,做基本的文獻探 討。包括:資訊科技、製造執行資訊系統、新技術引進、積體電路製造環 境,以及未來積體電路製造的挑戰和因應之道。本研究實証部份,以科學 園區某一積體電路製造公司的三個晶圓製造廠為對象,探討資訊科技引用 的多種因素。除了探討其歷史和現狀之外,本研究分別針對三個晶圓廠做 問卷調查。標題是「引用資訊科技及其相關影響因素,對達成積體電路製 造需求的相關重要程度研究」。本實証研究有許多有價值的發現,証明該 公司之經營有其獨到之處,是個可學習的對象。研究的重心圍繞著製造資 訊系統,經由此研究,作者試圖找出多面項影響因素,諸如科技、文化、 管理階層的遠見、組織學習、業務型態、客戶服務、終端使用者計算、供 應商關係、運作管理...等等。 One of the most striking features in IC Manufacturing is the intensively use of information technology (IT). Starting from the first process operation, the following several hundred operations are virtually controlled by process equipment, which are under highly computerized control. These operational modes are a mixture of manual, semi-auto and fully-auto systems. This paper has a brief review of the current and future IC manufacturing environment, and an evolutionary approach and a future vision based manufacturing systems. The major part of this paper is an empirical, field-based study, in which the author reviewed the history and current status of manufacturing systems applied to three Fabs. The three wafer Fabs belong to a single company, which are located at Hsin-Chu science based industry park, Taiwan, the Republic of China. A questionnaire survey distributed to the Fabs' staffs, entitled as "The Relative Importance to Achieve IC Manufacturing Needs on Adopting Information Technology and its related Influencing Factors" provided valuable data and information. It reflects the influence of technology, organizational learning, business type, management vision, operation management ... etc.
