Abstract: 我們提出一種新的波長編碼系統,它結合了平常的串列編碼和並行的波長
編碼。在這系統中,同位檢查碼和圖框標齊碼分別放在兩個波長頻道內。
所以位元率和數據序列在編碼過程中將完全不受影響,這使得它非常適合
應用在實際的光波系統。由於架構簡單,所以可以很容易地在高速光纖系
統實行。此外,在一個有m個頻道,速率為STS-N的分波多工傳輸系
統,串列編碼需要m*N組編碼解碼器,而我們所提出的波長編碼系統僅
需要一組編碼解碼器,這大量地減少了編碼解碼器使用的個數。把同位檢
查碼和圖框標齊碼放在兩個獨立的頻道上,將使得編碼區段縮小、編碼過
程變得簡單、且不管數據頻道有多少個,多餘的頻道只有兩個。在這篇論
文中,我們對所提出的系統有詳盡的描述,並考慮一些雜訊源來分析系統
的表現。此外,我們用電腦模擬來驗證分析,發現模擬的結果和分析非常
吻合。
We propose a novel WDM coding system being a combination of
ordinary serial coding and the parallel WDM coding. The parity-
check bits and the forward alignment words are put in two
wavelength channels, respectively. The bit rate and the data
sequences are completely unaffected in the coding process,
making it very suitable for practical lightwave systems. It is
simple which can be implemented easily in high-speed optical
systems. Moreover, it needs only one encoder/decoder pair in
an m-channel WDM transmission system at the STS-N level, being
reduced heavily from the m * N encoder/decoder pairs used in
serial coding systems. By putting parity-check bits and
forward alignment words in two individual channels, the
encoded block size is small, the coding process is simple, and
the redundant channels is two no matter how large the data
channel number is. In this paper, we give a detailed
description about the proposed system and analyze its
performance by considering several noise sources. We further
use computer simulation to verify the analysis. The simulation
results are in good agreement with analytical results.
