空間潛勢/以數位工具探索另一種建築空間的形象建構

Abstract

摘要電腦輔助設計的各種方向，有傾於使用電腦語言模擬建築形式風格 、有使電腦加強設計者的思考行為，更普及是利用電腦模擬已設計完成的 建築形體，而在此藉用數位工具的特性，由基本空間形式建構開始，試圖 探討電腦輔助設計的另一途徑。數位建築的發展，帶來許多新的設計形式 ，之下再置入合理空間，而我認為建築中，形式的確有其重要性，但應視 為空間的表達，而非以形式主導空間。既成的空間關係是必然的存在，但 既存的空間形式，應不僅止於當今所見本設計於數位環境中，藉用數位工 具操作的特性，定義一有效知覺的空間形象組成，進而推演試驗合理的空 間組構關係，最後並完成一設計示範。試圖示範另一種建築空間的構成方 式，以合理程序生產，而帶來的空間形式有其內在邏輯，並有合理的空間 感知。對建築設計而言，這是另一種建築空間的形構過程，探索空間原有 的潛力。在建築的整體風格上，順著材料物性及遵守構成規則，使一般數 位操作環境中可恣意妄為的空間形式收斂於形式邏輯，並由內而外的展現 預期的整體風格，並且是一全新的風格本系統產生不同於以往的空間形式 ，使既存的結構系統顯的不足，合理於曲面材料特性的結構系統需再發展 http://www.iaa.nctu.edu.tw/~ysl < project 1998 > Abstract People attempt to explore all aspects of design with digital tools, e.g. analyzing architectural style, enhancing the design capability and simulating building forms. In the present project, I endeavored to find out the alternative way of design process, working started from the basic spatial elements, with the means of computer-aided design.There're lots of new styles arisen accompanying with the development of computer technology and the forms of the design has been taken much more interests than other issues. In my opinions, Form is important, but only when it grows from the space, it is worth more.Spatial form should be various and many while its relation exists inherently. Via this practice, I attempt to explore the undiscovered spatial potency .The final presentation includes the design process from primary spatial elements to the complete airport design, and it would be reasonable on both aspects of organization and scale of the space.For architectural design, it is an alternative way to construct spaces, and the identity of the space also reflected itself during the design process.
