網際網路應用軟體服務提供者之競爭與趨勢研究

Abstract

企業內部的資訊系統提昇至與供應商、消費者互相聯繫的網路架構，簡化了交易的流程並節省大量成本，增加了企業的競爭力。資訊科技進步快速，網際網路的應用推陳出新，ERP、CRM、電子商務等都是網路應用下的產物，企業為了提昇競爭力必須加快資訊化的步伐，應用軟體服務提供者(Application Service Provider)即為企業量身訂作所需的資訊系統。不論是中小型企業的租賃服務或是應用軟體的線上服務等，均可交由專業的ASP來提供。 由於ASP是近幾年來新興的事業，完整的資料不多，本論文利用國內外期刊文獻與網路上資源加以整理與歸納。本文探討1.網際網路服務業的特色、型態2.ASP委外安全性問題、整合不易與成功委外的因素3.國內外ASP業者之情況4.ASP潛在進入者SI、ISV、ISP的影響與衝擊。5.以Maidique & Patch(1982)、Miles & Snow(1978)的適應性策略與Michel Porter的一般策略分析ASP策略，並訪談業者歸納出可採行的策略，最後提出面臨挑戰的解決之道。

The corporate internal data processing system has been expanded to reach suppliers and consumers via internet. The simplification of business transactions reduced operations costs and thus increased competitiveness. Corporations throughout the world have to accelerate the rate of adopting information and networking technology. Application Service Provides emerged to deliver, via the internet, application softwares to corporations. This thesis conducted literatures review of relevant ASP information from domestic and foreign journals and web sites. Main subjects include: the characteristics of service oriented business on internet, the success factors of information processing outsourcing, the current status of domestic and foreign ASP companies,and the impacts of SI, ISV, and ISP on ASP. After interviewed several ASP vendors, the author recommended operational strategies for ASP companies.
