Abstract: 本研究的目的在探討不同的電纜經過四種標準環境試驗後,再以符合ASTM E662規定之煙濃度測試儀對上述電纜進行煙濃度量測,以進一步探討不同環境因子對電纜發煙性的影響。實驗的樣品為太平洋電力電纜公司所生產的600 V XLPE及600 V PVC兩種電纜;而環境試驗項目為高溫、溼度、鹽霧及嚴酷度試驗等四種;而實驗分無焰測試及有焰測試兩種。從實驗結果發現,在無焰測試中,高溫因子對電纜的影響最為一致,不管XLPE還是PVC電纜,其最大發煙量皆低於全新電纜且在所有環境因子中為最低值; XLPE電纜在經其餘環境因子影響後,其發煙量也皆低於全新電纜,但是在PVC電纜中,除了經溼度影響後的電纜其發煙量高於全新電纜之外,其餘環境因子皆會降低電纜發煙量。在有焰測試中,因為受到儀器量測上的限制,故無法得到電纜的真正最大發煙量,而且從實驗結果來看,環境因子對電纜在有焰測試中的發煙量並無比較一致的反應;在XLPE電纜中所有經環境因子影響後的電纜發煙量皆大於全新電纜,尤其以溼度因子最高;在PVC電纜中,除了經嚴酷度因子影響的電纜其發煙量最低外,其餘的發煙量皆高於全新電纜,而且高溫因子最高。最後本研究建議,在未來加入其他的環境因子,例如酸性因子來進行更深入的探討。並且使用其他儀器來進行量測,並與本研究進行比較。
This study investigates the resultant smoke density of 600V XLPE and PVC cables subjected to different environmental treatments. The environmental factors include the heat, damp, salt mist and combination of salt mist and damp. The test apparatus is the smoke density chamber, whose test method is in compliance with ASTM E622. The testing conditions are categorized into non-flaming and flaming. In non-flaming test, the smoke densities of both XLPE and PVC cables subjected to environmental treatments are less than these of the primary cables, except the PVC cables subjected to the damp treatment. In flaming test, the smoke densities of both XLPE and PVC cables subjected to environmental treatments are higher than the ones of the primary cables, except the PVC cables subjected to the combination of salt mist and damp. Because of the limitation of apparatus on the maximum smoke density measurement, this study suggests that it should adopt the other test methods, such as Cone Calorimeter, to justify the smoke density again and compare the test results with the present ones.
