Abstract: | An optical fiber ring resonatory sensor system has been demonstrated by applying a triangular phase modulation signal to a fiber loop. The dynamic range for detection of optical phase change is 2-pi. The sensor is linear within this range. The minimum detectable optical phase change is 1. 5 x 10(-4) rad/Hz1/2. |
