Item type:Item, A Wi-Fi Union Mechanism for Internet Advertising Reciprocal Platform in Microenterprises(2017-07-01) ;Thi Thanh An Nguyen ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Yuan, Shyan-Ming ;資訊工程學系電機學院碩士在職專班With the evolution of the Internet and smartphone devices, Internet advertising has become one of the most important methods for delivering promotional marketing messages to customers. However, the efficiency of Internet advertising for microenterprise is not very high, since Wi-Fi advertisingwhich is limited by a small router coverage areais mainly used. Moreover, because of the lack of money, microenterprises have been using low-cost methods to promote their products. Thus, enhancing the effectiveness of Wi-Fi advertising, and solving the problem of cost and the range of the views are now an essential investigation in this study. In this paper, we propose a reciprocal model with Wi-Fi union mechanism for Internet advertising based on fog computing architecture to enhance the efficiency of advertisement, reduce the cost, and increase the range of the views for microenterprise by using the Internet. In particular, the system was built in advertisers', publishers', and consumers' sides. In our system, we use contribution point (CP) as an exchange value among the participants. Advertisers and publishers can get CP by helping the others in the system to promote their advertisements, increasing their CP by one unit. Similarly, advertisers and publishers can use their CP to ask for assistance from the others, decreasing their CP by one unit. The result shows that the system in a Wi-Fi union is easy to use, and advertisements can be seen by all customers who are using free Wi-Fi from the stores of the union. This method can solve the problem of cost and fixed consumer groups.Item type:Item, ATP: A Browser-based Distributed Testing Service Platform(2016-01-01) ;Chiang, Chuan-Yen ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Chen, Hung-Yu ;Chen, Yen-LinYuan, Shyan-MingIn recent years, web services have become an indispensable part of our life. By use of personal computers, smart phones and wearable smart devices, people can enjoy the convenience brought by these web services and use them to not only enrich our daily life but also solve life issues. Thus, to more appropriately realize the performance of a web service, it is necessary to perform an overall and credible web service testing. Among the areas of current research and applications of web service testing issues, a tester can use a single-node testing tool to rapidly build a simple test environment on a single test node or LAN environment; the tester can also take advantage of the cloud testing method to create large-scale test environment. However, these existing tools and methods suffer some problems so that the test environment is neither close enough to the real context of the use cases nor able to meet tester's requirement (test node dispersion, resource management and ease of deploying a test, etc.). In this paper, we identify three essential requirements for web service testing applications (elastic test environment provisioning, large scale simulation capability, and geographical test support) and propose an efficient design of browser-based distributed testing service platform. As a result, the tester can significantly save their time and reduce the cost via the proposed of browser-based distributed testing service platform.Item type:Item, Cloud Storage Access Gateway(2015) ;Yang, Ze-Yan ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Yuan, Shyan-Ming ;資訊工程學系Department of Computer ScienceCloud storage services (CSSs) such as Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft\'s OneDrive are more and more popular. For users, they can access and store their data through the Internet at any time and at anywhere. On the other hand, web service providers (WSPs) can reduce their costs on devices storage by using CSSs\' API to access users\' cloud storages and managing their data indirectly. Although this method is convenient, it still a problem that each CSS has its own connection method of cloud storage\'s API and WSPs must spend additional time understanding them for operating and development. In this paper, we propose a CDMI-compliant cloud storage access gateway to solve Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive three different connection methods of APIs. By using our CDMI-compliant cloud storage access gateway, WSPs can easily develop web services supporting accessing users\' data in their cloud storages and users can manage their own data in their trusting CSSs.Item type:Item, Cloud Storage Aggregator(2015-01-01) ;Sangla, Mahamady YemraoChgo ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Chao, Hsiang ;Ren, An-Ni交大名義發表With the emergence of the cloud computing cloud storages services become very popular along with others cloud based services used by both companies and end users. Cloud storage service allow users to store their data in the cloud without any additional software or hardware. Today, users have several cloud storage account for different purposes. They may have multiple accounts taking advantages of the free storage or pricing offer by service providers; others might be concern about quality of services like reliability data security and confidentiality. The goal of managing those multiple accounts becomes a tedious task. Users with multiple accounts cannot keep track of all their files on the cloud each provider requiring login and no transfer option from one cloud to another without additional download and upload steps. In this paper we proposed a system so called cloud storage aggregator to address this problem. Our system will allow users to connect manage their multiple cloud storage account on a single and friendly interface and provide basic file management functions. Experiments was conducted using system usability scale (SUS) method. The results showed that our system is helpful to manage multiple cloud storage accounts and easy to use.Item type:Item, File Deduplication with Cloud Storage File System(2013-01-01) ;Ku, Chan-I ;Luo, Guo-Heng ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Yuan, Shyan-Ming資訊工程學系The Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is used to solve the storage problem of huge data, but does not provide a handling mechanism of duplicate files. In this study, the middle layer file system in the HBASE virtual architecture is used to do File Deduplicate in HDFS, with two architectures proposed according to different requires of the applied requirement reliability, therein one is RFD-HDFS (Reliable File Deduplicated HDFS) which is not permitted to have any errors and the other is FD-HDFS (File Deduplicated HDFS) which can tolerate very few errors. In addition to the advantage of the space complexity, the marginal benefits from it are explored. Assuming a popular video is uploaded to HDFS by one million users, through the Hadoop replication, they are divided into three million files to store, that is a practice wasting disk space very much and only by the cloud to remove repeats for effectively loading. By that, only three file spaces are taken up, namely the 100% utility of removing duplicate files reaches. The experimental architecture is a cloud based documentation system, like the version of EndNote Cloud, to simulate the cluster effect of massive database when the researcher synchronized the data with cloud storage.Item type:Item, Physical Peer-to-Peer Content Sharing Framework on Mobile Device over Wi-Fi Direct(2018-01-01) ;Thi Thanh An Nguyen ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Kuo, Chen-Erh ;Yuan, Shyan-Ming資訊工程學系Because of the increasing the demand of internet usage and sale of mobile devices, it leads two major causes of high response latencies and bad user experiences. Although much work has been done to date, there are few studies that have investigated the Peer-to-Peer content sharing framework on the mobile network environment to improve the high response latencies and bad user experiences. In this paper, we proposed a Peer-to-Peer Content Sharing Framework on the mobile network environment to solve these two above challenges. Moreover, our proposed model serves in a small area to make sure the physical short distance between users to send cache file to user's device for reducing loading in confined space.Item type:Item, UCS - A Unified Cloud Storage Integration Service(2017-01-01) ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Chiao, Hsin-Ta ;Chang, Yue-Shan ;Tsai, Ching-TsorngYuen, Kuo-KaiAlthough cloud storage integration services have been developed in recent years that providing a single interface to manage multiple cloud storage accounts across different providers, these cloud storage integration services still remain several issues that do not address. First, because these services do not support arrangement mechanisms for users, they need to keep track of which account they want to upload files to and arrange their storage spaces manually. Second, since each account is divided into different sections, it is impossible to provide a virtual folder that contains files from different cloud storage providers. In addition, when all accounts are nearly full, integration services could not chunk a file to store it across multiple accounts. Third, uploading and moving files across accounts are always done through the integration service's server, which might become a bottleneck when there are a lot of users uploading files at the same time. In this paper, we propose a new cloud storage integration service - Unified Cloud Storage (UCS) for solving the above-mentioned issues, and evaluate its performance by experiments.Item type:Item, Web Resource Cacheable Edge Device in Fog Computing(2016-01-01) ;Fan, Chih-Tien ;Wu, Zong-You ;Chang, Che-Pin ;Yuan, Shyan Ming資訊科學與工程研究所The bandwidth of the network is precious. As cloud computing provides powerful computation power and more and more devices are connected to the Internet there is a need to seek for methods to reduce the traffic. Fog computing was proposed to adding the computation and storage ability to the edge devices. The requests from the end device can be preprocessed or even responded at the edge device. In this work, the ability of Web Resource Caching is added to the edge device to serve as a caching proxy server. In order to obtain more caching storage, the end devices are also exploits to provide some caching space. As the whole caching storage is enlarged, large resource like media files are able to be cached near to the end devices once any of the end devices in the same network just recently requested it. The result shows that the proposed architecture has better downloading latency compares to the single caching proxy approach.
