Item type:Item, Applying Output Feedback Integral Sliding Mode Controller to Time-Delay Systems(2011-04-01) ;Ting, Huan-Chan ;Chang, Jeang-Lin ;Chen, Yon-Ping ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringFor time-delay systems with mismatched disturbances and uncertainties, this paper developed an integral sliding mode control algorithm using output information only to stabilize the system. An integral sliding surface is comprised of output vectors and an auxiliary full-order compensator. The proposed output feedback sliding mode controller can satisfy the reaching and sliding condition and maintain the system on the sliding surface from the initial moment. When the specific linear matrix inequality has a solution, our method can guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system and satisfy the property of disturbance attenuation. Moreover, the design parameters of the controller and compensator can be simultaneously determined by the solution to the linear matrix inequality. Finally, a numerical example illustrated the applicability of the proposed scheme.Item type:Item, Applying Output Feedback Integral Sliding Mode Controller to Uncertain Time-Delay Systems with Mismatched Disturbances(2011-12-01) ;Ting, Huan-Chan ;Chang, Jeang-Lin ;Chen, Yon-Ping ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringFor time-delay systems with mismatched disturbances and uncertainties, this paper develops an integral sliding mode control algorithm using output information only to stabilize the systems. An integral sliding surface is comprised of output signals and an auxiliary full-order compensator. The proposed output feedback sliding mode controller can satisfy the reaching and sliding condition and maintain the system on the sliding surface from the initial moment. When two specific algebraic Riccati inequalities have solutions, our method can guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system and satisfy the property of robust disturbance attenuation. Moreover, the design parameters of controller and compensator can be simultaneously determined by solutions to the algebraic Riccati inequalities. Using a Lagrange polynomial to take as a compensator and combining it with the original GM(1,1) model, the proposed prediction method can decrease the prediction error and easily implement in microprocessors with less computing time and memories. Then we employ this technique in DSMC to detect the system unknown perturbation. Comparing with the conventional DSMC, the proposed algorithm can reduce the switching gain and result in that the system state is bounded in a smaller region. Numeric simulation results of a DC motor are given to illustrate the feasibility and successfulness of the proposed design.Item type:Item, Output Feedback Integral Sliding Mode Control for Uncertain Systems with Bounded L-2 Performance(2009) ;Chang, Jeang-Lin ;Ting, Huan-Chan ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringThis paper presents an output feedback sliding mode control algorithm for linear MIMO systems with mismatched parameter uncertainties along with disturbances and matched nonlinear perturbations. A scheme of the output-dependent integral sliding surface is proposed and a control law is then designed to satisfy the reaching and sliding condition. Through utilizing H-infinity control analytical technique, once the system is in the sliding mode, the proposed algorithm can guarantee robust stabilization and sustain the nature of performing disturbance attenuation in terms of an algebraic Riccati equation. Finally, the feasibility of our proposed algorithm is illustrated using a numerical example.Item type:Item, Output feedback integral sliding mode controller of time-delay systems with mismatch disturbances(2012-01-01) ;Ting, Huan-Chan ;Chang, Jeang-Lin ;Chen, Yon-Ping ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringFor uncertain time-delay systems with mismatch disturbances, this paper presented an integral sliding mode control algorithm using output information only. An integral sliding surface is comprised of output signals and an auxiliary full-order compensator. The designed output feedback sliding mode controller can locally satisfy the reaching and sliding condition and maintain the system on the sliding surface from the initial moment. Since the system is in the sliding mode and two specific algebraic Riccati inequalities are established, the proposed algorithm can guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system and satisfy the property of disturbance attenuation. Moreover, the design parameters of the controller and compensator can be simultaneously determined by solutions to two algebraic Riccati inequalities. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the applicability of the proposed scheme.Item type:Item, Proportional-Derivative Unknown Input Observer Design Using Descriptor System Approach for Non-Minimum Phase Systems(2011-10-01) ;Ting, Huan-Chan ;Chang, Jeang-Lin ;Chen, Yon-Ping ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringThis paper considers the problem of estimating the state of an MIMO linear system with unknown inputs in the state and output. Through a series of linear transformations in the state and output equations, the original system can be transformed into a descriptor system form. The proposed proportional derivative observer can accurately estimate the system state and avoid the peaking phenomenon. Moreover, the approach developed in this paper does not require the derivatives of the output and can be applied to the system with unstable zeros (with respect to the relation between the output and the unknown input). Finally, our algorithm can prove the valid feasibility and the property of disturbance attenuation through demonstrating a simulation-base example.
