Item type:Item, A 2.1-mu W 0.3V-1.0V Wide Locking Range Multiphase DLL Using Self-Estimated SAR Algorithm(2009) ;Chang, Yi-Ming ;Chang, Ming-Hung ;Hwang, Wei ;電子工程學系及電子研究所Department of Electronics Engineering and Institute of ElectronicsThis paper presents an all-digital multiphase delay-locked loop (ADMDLL) for wide-locking range and micro-power applications. To enhance locking range of the ADMDLL, we proposed the self-estimated successive approximation register-controlled (SESAR) algorithm, which uses the frequency-estimation selector (FES) to avoid harmonic lock issue. In addition, the FES can reuse the delay line to reduce circuit area and power dissipation significantly. By using the stack effect, the proposed leakage-reduced delay unit can save 12% leakage power consumption. After locking, the dynamic frequency monitor window is proposed to compensation phase error caused by PVT variations. The proposed ADMDLL is capable of operating in wide supply voltage range from 0.3V to 1.0V. The power dissipation is only 520 mu W at 1.25GHz/1.0V, and 2.1 mu W at 13MHz/0.3V, respectively. This work is based on UMC 90nm standard CMOS technology.Item type:Item, A P2P Auto-Recover Method for the Factory Data of Cable Modem over the HFC Network(2012) ;Chen, Yu-Liang ;Luo, Guo-Heng ;Chang, Yi-Ming ;Yuan, Shyan-Ming資訊工程學系With the popularization of the Data-OverCable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS) product, many devices have been installed in client sides. The issue of how to maintain the quality while providing quick repair becomes more and more important. In some practical circumstances, the cable modem may lose the factory data which include the calibration table and the digital certificates. These data are unique and vital for the regular operations of cable modem. The traditional way of handling the malfunction product is to ship back the product to the maintenance branch and replaces a working device for the customer. In this paper we will present a solution which is based on network coding over peer to peer (P2P) network to fix the problem automatically online, named Cable modem Auto-Recovery (CAROL).Item type:Item, Visible light positioning (VLP) system using low-cost organic photovoltaic cell (OPVC) for low illumination environments(2020-08-31) ;Hong, Chong-You ;Wu, Yu-Chun ;Lin, Yu-Hsiang ;Liu, YangChow, Chi-WaiWe propose and demonstrate a received-signal-strength (RSS) based visible light positioning (VLP) system using a low-cost organic photovoltaic cell (OPVC) receiver (Rx). The OPVC is a passive device without the need of external power supply. It could detect VLC signal and harvest energy. Our developed OPVC has a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.8%. The VLP system can be operated at a low illumination of 130 lux. The regression machine learning (MIL) algorithm is used to enhance the positioning accuracy.
