Item type:Item, Individually Adapted LC-lens Array for 3D Applications(2014-12-12) ;Huang, Yi-Pai ;Jen, Tai-Hsieng ;Chang, Yu-Cheng ;Shieh, Po-YuanChen, Chi-WeiA low driving voltage with fast response LC-lens was developed. By implementing the LC-lens as an array structure, it can be adaptively used for 2D/3D switching and 3D rotation on auto- stereoscopic display. Additionally, it also can be utilized as a depth sensor for 3D capturing.Item type:Item, Liquid Crystal Lens Array for 3D Display and 3D Air-touch(2013) ;Huang, Yi-Pai ;Jen, Tai-Hsieng ;Chang, Yu-Cheng ;Wang, Guo-ZhenShieh, Po-YuanA low driving voltage with fast response LC-lens by using high resistance material was developed. By implementing the LC-lens as an array structure, it can be adaptively used for multi-function of 3D displays. Furthermore, by combining with coded optical barrier with embedded optical sensors, it can yield 3D air-touch function.Item type:Item, Self-adjustable Feed-forward Control and Auto-tracking Off-time Control Techniques for 95% Accuracy and 95% Efficiency AC-DC Non-isolated LED Driver(2015) ;Chen, Hsin ;Chen, Chi-Wei ;Hsieh, Hsueh-Yi ;Chen, Ke-HorngTsai, Tsung-Yenthe non-isolated buck topology for LED driver is proposed to reduce volume and cost without the need of large transformer. Besides, in the entire universal range of AC input voltage, the proposed self-adjusted feed-forward control (SAFFC) technique ensures small variation in the LED current. The auto-tracking off-time control (ATOTC) technique is also adopted to adjust the off time to guarantee the current accuracy is better than that of the peak current control (PCC) technique while and the efficiency is better than that of the hysteresis current control (HCC) technique. Test chip fabricated in VIS 0.5 mu m 700V ultra-high voltage (UHV) process demonstrates power factor higher than 0.97, averaged 95% high accuracy, and 95% high efficiency.
