In this study we propose a blog recommendation mechanism that combines trust model, social relation and semantic analysis and illustrates how it can be applied to a prestigious online blogging system - wretch in Taiwan. By the results of experimental study, we found a number of implications from the Weblog network and several important theories in domain of social networking were empirically justified. The experimental evaluation reveals that the proposed recommendation mechanism is quite feasible and promising. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. In this paper, we develop an MIV (marketing influential value) model to evaluate the influential strength and identify the influential bloggers in the blogosphere. We analyze three dimensions of blog characteristics (network-based, content-based, and activeness-based factors) and utilize an artificial neural network (ANN) to discover potential bloggers. Based on peer and official evaluations, the experimental results show that the proposed framework outperforms two social-network-based methods (out-degree and betweenness centrality algorithms) and two content-based mechanisms (review rating and popular author approaches). The proposed framework can be effectively applied to support marketers or advertisers in promoting their products or services. (C) 2011 Elsevier Inc. A four-point bend delamination test and a pull-off tensile test are used to study the interfacial strength of the PE-ALD thin film with copper. According to X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy, a new chemical phase with a very small nitrogen content, possibly beta-TaN(x), is formed on the PE-ALD TaN(x) thin film after the RTA treatment. The increase in the Ta/N atomic ratio in the RTA-treated TaN(x) thin film significantly improves the adhesion of the TaN(x) film with the sputter-deposited Cu layer. However, the hydrogen-plasma-treated TaN(x) thin film shows a slight decrease in nitrogen content but still demonstrates better adhesion with the Cu layer compared with the as-deposited one. While the Cu overlayer on the RTA-treated PE-ALD TaN(x) thin film can sustain the thermal anneal at 600 degrees C, the one on the as-deposited TaN(x) thin film exhibits voiding even at a temperature as low as 400 degrees C.Item type:Item, Effect of Surface Reduction Treatments of Plasma-Enhanced Atomic Layer Chemical Vapor Deposited TaNx on Adhesion with Copper(2010-01-01) ;Chang, Chih-Chieh ;Pan, Fu-Ming ;Chen, Ching-Wen ;材料科學與工程學系Department of Materials Science and EngineeringThis study performs surface reduction treatments, including hydrogen plasma treatment and rapid thermal anneal (RTA) in hydrogen ambient, to reduce the nitrogen content in the surface layer of the TaNx ultrathin film deposited by plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PE-ALD). For the minute volume of a 0.1 mu L oil (n-decane) shell encapsulating a 1.5 mu L water core droplet, only 0.2 to 2.8 nmol or 0.17 to 2.4 mu g lipid was required. Microscopes and electrophysiological measurements were performed on the parallel-plate device with three major steps demonstrated: (1) manipulating self-assembled lipid monolayers at the water-oil interface of the encapsulated droplets by electrowetting-on-dielectric (EWOD), (2) forming a BLM by bringing two lipid monolayers towards the aperture and thinning down the oil film between them by Young-Laplace pressure, and (3) incorporating membrane-bound nanopores, alpha-hemolysin (alpha HL), on the BLM. This study shows the influence of the lipid concentration to the interfacial tension and EWOD. Plateau-Gibbs border and black membrane area of the BLM were optically observed, while trans-membrane electrophysiological signals were electrically recorded from a pair of Ag/AgCl electrodes. Without any surface modification for the dielectric layer, Ta atoms could easily diffuse into the mesoporous layer seriously degrading dielectric properties. O(2) and Ar plasmas have been used to modify the surface of the mesoporous dielectric in a high density plasma chemical vapor deposition (HDP-CVD) system, and both of the treatments produced a densified oxide layer a few nanometer thick. According to transmission electron microscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy, the pore sealing treatment could effectively prevent Ta atoms from diffusing into the mesoporous dielectric during the PE-ALCVD process. To illuminate the molecular phenotype of this demographically distinct disease, we performed a deep comprehensive proteogenomic study on a prospectively collected cohort in Taiwan, representing early stage, predominantly female, non-smoking lung adenocarcinoma. Integrated genomic, proteomic, and phosphoproteomic analysis delineated the demographically distinct molecular attributes and hallmarks of tumor progression. Mutational signature analysis revealed age- and gender-related mutagenesis mechanisms, characterized by high prevalence of APOBEC mutational signature in younger females and over-representation of environmental carcinogen-like mutational signatures in older females. A proteomics-informed classification distinguished the clinical characteristics of early stage patients with EGFR mutations. Furthermore, integrated protein network analysis revealed the cellular remodeling underpinning clinical trajectories and nominated candidate biomarkers for patient stratification and therapeutic intervention. This multi-omic molecular architecture may help develop strategies for management of early stage never-smoker lung adenocarcinoma.
