Item type:Item, A New Criterion of Human Comfort Assessment for Wheelchair Robots by Q-Learning Based Accompanist Tracking Fuzzy Controller(2016-12) ;Wu, Bing-Fei ;Chen, Po-Yen ;Lin, Chun-Hsien ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringWheelchair users often struggle to drive safely and accompanied by caregivers. Wheelchair robots can employ the autonomous functions to avoid obstacles and reduce the workload of the caregivers. To achieve the goal, the accompanist needs to be steadily recognized and tracked by the robots. By using Q-learning based accompanist tracking fuzzy controller, wheelchair robots can peacefully follow the accompanist. Meanwhile, it is important to make the people on wheelchair robots feel comfortable. Based on ISO 2631-1, the ride qualities are obtained by averaging the acceleration data in the frequency bands, and the critical thresholds utilizing to assess the ride comfort are also determined inside. To make the level of bumpiness be as multiple as possible, four kinds of pavements are chosen in the experiments. The results show that the feelings of the occupants on the wheelchair robot are quite different from the ride comfort defined in ISO 2631-1, so a new standard is proposed to assess the ride comfort in this study. The accuracy of the proposed standard is 90.67 %, which is higher than that of ISO 2631-1, 42.48 %. Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge, this paper is thought to be the first one to present the ISO 2631-1-based comfort criterion for wheelchair robots.Item type:Item, Accompanist Recognition and Tracking for Intelligent Wheelchairs(2014) ;Wu, Bing-Fei ;Jen, Cheng-Lung ;Tsou, Tai-Yu ;Chen, Po-Yen電控工程研究所Recently, several robotic wheelchairs have been proposed that employ autonomous functions. In designing wheelchairs, it is important to reduce the accompanist load. To provide such a task, the mobile robot needs to recognize and track people. In this paper, we propose to utilize the multisensory data fusion to track a target accompanist. First, the simultaneous localization and map building is achieved by using the laser range finder (LRF) and inertial sensors with the extended Kalman filter recursively. To track the target person robustly, the accompanist, are tracked by fusing laser and vision data. The human objects are detected by LRF, and the identity of accompanist is recognized using a PTZ camera with a pre-defined signature using the speed-up robust features algorithm. The proposed system can adaptively search visual signature and track the accompanist by dynamically zooming the PTZ camera based on LRF detection results to enlarge the range of human following. The experimental results verified and demonstrated the performance of the proposed system.Item type:Item, Efficient bulk heterojunction solar cells based on a low-bandgap polyfluorene copolymers and fullerene derivatives(2009-09-01) ;Huang, Jen-Hsien ;Li, Kuang-Chieh ;Wei, Hung-Yu ;Chen, Po-YenLin, Lu-YinA low-bandgap polymer (PF-PThCVPTZ) consisted of fluorene and phenothiazine was designed and synthesized. With the donor-acceptor segment, the partial charge transfer can be built in the polymer backbone leading to a wide absorbance. The absorption spectrum of PF-PThCVPTZ exhibits a peak at 510 nm and an absorption onset at 645 nm in the visible range. As blended with [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as an electron acceptor, narrow bandgap PF-PThCVPTZ as electron donor shows significant solar cell performance. Under AM 1.5 G, 100 mA/cm(2) illumination, a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 1.85% was recorded, with a short circuit current (J(SC)) of 5.37 mA/cm(2), an open circuit voltage (V(OC)) of 0.80 V, and a fill factor (FF) of 43.0%. The annealing temperature of the composite film, in the range of 110-580 degrees C, is found to be crucial for optimizing its catalytic ability to obtain the best possible performance for the DSSC. About 47% loss in mass for the POEM/H2PtCl6/MWCNT composite is observed from 110 to 390 degrees C, due to not only the progressive formation of PtNPs from H2PtCl6 but the decomposition of POEM. Therefore, the efficiencies (eta) of DSSCs applying these CEs are enhanced from 1.28 +/- 0.08% (110 degrees C) to 8.47 +/- 0.21% (390 degrees C). The mass of the composite loses dramatically under heating above 390 degrees C, due to the decomposition of MWCNTs. The eta decreases to 7.77 +/- 0.15% at 450 degrees C because the decrease in surface roughness of film. PtNPs grow in sizes from 450 to 580 degrees C, resulting in the further decrease in catalytic ability of film and the observed eta from 7.77 +/- 0.15% to 7.19 +/- 0.21%. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. The formation of alkenyl sulfonates is highly regio- and stereoselective with favorable yields of up to 95%, and two of the alkenyl sulfonates are utilized for a Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction to produce (Z)-1,3-enynoates.Item type:Item, Poster: A Software-Defined Multi-Camera Network(2016) ;Chen, Po-Yen ;Chen, Chien ;Selvaraj, Parthiban ;Claesen, Luc交大名義發表
