Item type:Item, Adjustable panoramic inspection system for submillimeter fasteners(2020-04-10) ;Yan, Yung-Jhe ;Tsai, Ming-Shiou ;Chen, Wen-Bin ;Chen, You-BoSun, Ching-CherngFasteners are critical and indispensable locking components in mechanical assembly. Submillimeter fasteners are massively and widely used in electronic devices. This study proposed an adjustable panoramic inspection system for M2 to M0.8 submillimeter fasteners. The system mainly consists of a panoramic imaging module, a back-light module, and an image grabbing and computing module. The panoramic imaging module would form four equal optical path lengths to keep the same imaging amplification between the different directions of the field of view. The back-light module was designed to provide uniform illumination and enhance the contrast of the pitch edge between the fasteners and the background. The image grabbing and computing module with a high-speed camera was designed to be adjustable for different sizes of submillimeter fasteners. The realized system can offer the function of four images in one shot to make a panoramic scene, independent illumination for recognizing, inspect screws from M0.8 to M2.0 screws, and short time consumption of image processing, such as 3.284 ms for M0.8 screws and 2.384 ms for M2.0 screws, to achieve examination of 6000 pieces in 1 min. ECO routing is complicated as a result of huge existing obstacles and the requests for various design rules. The tile-based routing model results in fewer nodes of the routing graph than grid and connection-based routers; however, the number of nodes of the tile-based routing graph has grown to over a billion for system-on-chip designs, while no notable progress has been achieved in the routing speed of the tile-based router since it was proposed. This paper first proposes a novel routing graph reduction (RGR) method for promoting tile propagation speed and then depicts a new ECO routing design flow with RGR and enhanced global routing flow (EGRF). RGR can be used to remove redundant tiles as well as align and merge neighboring tiles in order to diminish tile fragmentation such that the tile-based ECO router can run twice as fast while still producing an optimal path. Compared with a commercial placement and routing tool, the proposed tile-based router with RGR obtains better routing performance and routing quality for three ECO routings. EGRF incorporates ECO global routing considering via-resource congestion metric with extended routing and global cell (GCell) restructuring to prevent routing failure in routable designs. The ECO router with the proposed design flow can perform up to 20 times faster than the original tile-based router at the cost of only a slight decline in routing quality. Experimental results also demonstrate that a more congested layout tends to have higher graph reduction rate. Also discussed herein are further refinements by dynamic weighting of via and wire resources based on the vacancy density of the routed design and further application of RGR to multiple-net routing.Item type:Item, Synthesis and characterization of a novel siloxane-imide-containing polybenzoxazine(2011-03-01) ;Chen, Kai-Chi ;Li, Hsun-Tien ;Chen, Wen-Bin ;Liao, Chun-HsiungSun, Kien-WenA novel siloxane-imide-containing polybenzoxazine based on N,N'-bis(N-phenyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[1,3]oxazine)-5, 5'-bis(1,1',3,3'-tetramethyldisiloxane-1,3-diyl)-bis(norborane-2,3-dicarboximide) (BZ-A1) was successfully synthesized. The thermal properties of BZ-A1 are superior to those of conventional polybenzoxazines lacking siloxane groups. Polymerized BZ-A1 possesses extremely low surface free energy (gamma(s) = 15.1 mJ m(-2)) after curing at 230 degrees C for 1 h. Moreover, the surface free energy of polymerized BZ-A1 is more stable than conventional bisphenol A-type polybenzoxazine during thermal curing and annealing processes, indicating that polymerized BZ-A1 is more suitable for applications requiring low surface free energy materials for high temperatures over long periods of time. The thermal properties of the polybenzoxazine (PBZ) prepared from BZ-A6 (PBZ-A6) are superior to those of conventional PBZs lacking siloxane groups. The normally brittle PBZs are toughened significantly as a result of adding siloxane-imide moieties. Moreover, the thermal and UV stabilities of the surface free energy of PBZ-A6 are dramatically improved over the conventional bisphenol-A-type PBZ. Siloxane-imide PBZs are more suitable for application as low-surface-free-energy materials that are highly resistant to temperature and UV radiation. PBZ-A6 may also be useful in weather-resistant and self-cleaning coating materials because of its low surface free energy and good thermal and UV resistance. (C) 2011 Society of Chemical Industry
