Item type:Item, Controller apparatus for controlling a multiphase multilevel voltage source inverter and a method thereof(2014-03-11) ;Hu Jwu-Sheng ;Chen Keng-YuanTang Chi-HimThe present invention provides an apparatus for controlling a multiphase multilevel voltage source inverter. The apparatus includes a signal-generating unit and a converter. The signal-generating unit responds to an input signal to produce a switching strategy control signal and a duration timing control signal corresponding to the switching strategy control signal. The converting unit responds to the switching strategy control signal and the duration timing control signal to produce a switching signal. The voltage source inverter responds to the switching signal to generate a multiphase-and-multilevel AC voltage output.Item type:Item, Driving method and driving device for driving a polyphase inverter(2013-09-17) ;Hu Jwu-ShengChen Keng-YuanA driving method for driving a polyphase inverter includes: receiving a reference input that includes a fundamental frequency component, and a previously generated feedback signal; generating an error signal that corresponds to a difference between the reference input and the previously generated feedback signal; attenuating the error signal to the minimum; generating an optimum signal; quantizing the optimum signal; and generating driving signals that correspond to the quantized optimum signal. A driving device that implements the driving method is also disclosed.Item type:Item, Multi-level Multi-phase VSI Control Using Multi-dimensional Feedback Quantization(2014-01-01) ;Chen Keng-Yuan ;Hu Jwu-Sheng ;電機工程學系Department of Electrical and Computer EngineeringA switching strategy for multi-level multi-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) based on optimal feedback quantization is derived. The contributions include the improved harmonics distortion comparing with the conventional SVPWM and the realizable block diagram of quantization to produce optimal switching state. By finding the most significant switching state, the implementation of quantization block needs only adders and comparators. Further, the implementation complexity of quantization is independent of phase/level numbers. In the simulation, the comparison of the proposed method and SVPWM confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.
