Item type:Item, Design of Novel Multi-Band Printed Dipole Antennas Fed by a Modified Microstrip Ring Hybrid(2013) ;Cheng, Li-Yuan ;Chen, Fu-Chiarng ;電機工程學系Department of Electrical and Computer EngineeringIn this paper, novel printed dipole antennas fed from end to end are presented for multiple wireless services. Unlike conventional dipole antenna fed from the center, two dipole arms integrated with a modified three-port microstrip ring hybrid, whose sum port is opened, can achieve the model of end-to-end-fed dipole antenna. Because the phase difference and magnitude ratio of signals from two output ports of ring hybrid vary from frequency to frequency, balanced and unbalanced signals can excite dipole antenna with different resonance modes. Dual-band and multi-band novel printed dipole antennas which have simple geometries and can be directly fabricated on PCB board with single microstrip feed are constructed and tested. Proposed antennas are suitable for many wireless communication application, such as WLAN 2.4/5.2GHz, WiMAX 2.6/3.5GHz, ISM band, DCS1800, PCS1900, and UMTS cellular system, etc.Item type:Item, PRINT DIPOLE ANTENNA AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF(2010-11-11) ;Cheng, Li-YuanChen, Fu-ChiarngThe present invention discloses a print dipole antenna and manufacturing method thereof. The print dipole antenna has a plurality of resonance frequencies, which comprises a substrate, a ring microstrip line and a ground plane. The ring microstrip line is disposed on one side of the substrate, and the interior of the ring microstrip line is symmetrically disposed with a plurality of parasitic metals. The ground plane is disposed on the other side of the substrate, and has a hollow portion corresponding to the central area of the ring microstrip line. The ring microstrip line has a plurality of end ports including input end ports and output end ports, which may further comprise an open circuit end. The plurality of parasitic metals may be of linear shape or bended in arbitrarily windings. A normal mode signal is fed from the end points of the plurality of parasitic metals.
