Item type:Item, A Method of Driving Characteristics Recognition on Vehicle Operation Sequence(2019-01-01) ;Zhang, Yu ;Shen, Bo ;Kao, Yi-Chih ;Chou, Hsin-Hung資訊技術服務中心Driving behavior has been proved to have a great influence on road safety. Recognizing driving characteristic is an essential part of reducing traffic fatalities and developing intelligent traffic system. In this paper, we propose a method of driving characteristics recognition through mining vehicle operation data such as GPS, velocity and direction collected by the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) port of vehicles. Based on the feature extracted from the vehicle operation sequence, we employ K-means algorithm to cluster and recognize different driving characteristics after reasonable normalization and dimensionality reduction of the features. Analysis and experimental results indicate that the proposed method has good application significance on mining effective information in vehicle operation data sequence.Item type:Item, Adaptive on-line parameters identification of nonlinear behavior in vector-controlled permanent magnet synchronous motors(2017-01-01) ;Ting, Chia-Min ;Chou, Hsin-Hung ;Cheng, Stone ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringThis paper addresses the problem of nonlinear dynamic of system parameters to specify the design of adaptive parameters identification algorithm with respect to a globally converged feedback control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drives. In this paper, synchronization of separated physical and analytical system of similar dynamic structures is proposed for solving online parameter estimation for nonlinear permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) models. The Lyapunov function analysis is used to assure the convergence of the proposed system performance. Simulations are presented and discussed to validate the proposed identification method. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve more accurate parameter identification.Item type:Item, Dual robust controller design for high power AC servo drive(2008) ;Cheng, Stone ;Huang, Yuan-Yong ;Chou, Hsin-Hung ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringHigh power AC motors have a highly interacting multivariable control structure, and it is difficult to design high dynamic performance AC drive with traditional PID-like controller for high power AC servo motor. This paper presents analysis, design and simulation of velocity, loop dual robust controller for 11kw permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) in the AC servo system. By combining PDFF-MA and H-infinity control algorithms with its own capability of achieving good performance criteria such as dynamic reference tracking and load torque disturbance rejection, The PDFF-MA controller is designed and analyzed in the forward loop to provide low frequency stiffness and overcome low-frequency disturbances like friction. To compensate the system response, moving average(MA) error filter is added. While in the feedback loop, H-infinity controller is designed to meet system robust stability with the existence of external disturbance and model perturbations. The proposed PDFF-MA and H-infinity controllers are designed based on the transfer function of the poly-phase synchronous machine in the synchronous reference frame at field orientation control (FOC). The parameter variations, load changes, and set-point variations of synchronous machine are taking into consideration to study the dynamic performance.Item type:Item, FPGA-BASED MOTION CONTROLLER FOR WAFER-HANDLING ROBOT(2013) ;Chou, Hsin-Hung ;Kung, Ying-Shieh ;Tsui, Tai-Wei ;Cheng, Stone機械工程學系This study applies FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) technology to implement a motion controller for wafer-handling robot which has three-DOF (Degree of Freedom) motion. The proposed FPGA-based motion controller has two modules. The first module is Nios II processor which is used to realize the motion trajectory computation and the three-axis position/speed controllers. The second module is demonstrated to implement the three-axis current vector controllers by using FPGA hardware, and VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language) is adopted to describe the controller behavior. Therefore, a fully digital motion controller for wafer-handling robot, such as one trajectory planning, three current vector controllers and three position/speed controllers are all implemented with an FPGA chip.Item type:Item, Optimized FPGA design, verification and implementation of a neuro-fuzzy controller for PMSM drives(2013-04-01) ;Chou, Hsin-Hung ;Kung, Ying-Shieh ;Nguyen Vu Quynh ;Cheng, Stone機械工程學系The work presents a neural fuzzy controller (NFC) for speed loop of permanent synchronous motor (PMSM) drives based on the technology of field programmable gate array (FPGA). Firstly, a mathematic model of the PMSM drive is derived; then to increase the performance of the PMSM drive system, a fuzzy controller (FC) which its parameters are adjusted by a radial basis function neural network (RBF NN) is applied to the speed controller for coping with the effect of the system dynamic uncertainty. Secondly, very high speed IC hardware description language (VHDL) is adopted to describe the behavior of the speed controller of PMSM drives which includes the circuits of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), coordinate transformation, NFC, etc. Besides, to reduce the resource usage while implementing in field programmable gate array (FPGA), a sequential execution using finite state machine (FSM) is applied. Thirdly, based on electronic design automation (EDA) simulator link, a simulation work is constructed by MATLAB/Simulink and ModelSim co-simulation mode which the PMSM, inverter and speed command are performed in Simulink as well as the speed controller of PMSM drives is executed in ModelSim. Finally, some co-simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed NFC-based speed controller for PMSM drives. (C) 2012 IMACS. Published by Elsevier B.V.
