Item type:Item, EFFECTS OF ANNEALING CONDITIONS ON THE PHASE-STABILITY AND SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF DC SPUTTERING TLBACACUO THIN-FILMS(1993-12-01) ;LIN, HC ;LI, MH ;LI, JJ ;JANG, FIFU, CMWe have studied the influence of heat treatment on the properties of the superconducting transition and critical current on the TiBaCaCuO thin films prepared by DC sputtering. The superconducting transition temperature is increasing as the maximum annealing temperature is raised. The XRD analysis reveals the evolution of the major phase of the films from 2212 phase to 2223 phase, when the films were annealed at maximum temperature varied from 895-degrees-C to 922-degrees-C. The surface morphology of the sample reveals the formation of the intergrowth of grains by partial melting, which may associated with the evolution of cntical current for the annealed films.Item type:Item, ENHANCEMENT OF CRITICAL-CURRENT DENSITY IN DIRECT-CURRENT-SPUTTERED TLBA2CA2CU3O9-/+DELTA SUPERCONDUCTING THIN-FILMS(1995-02-13) ;JUANG, JY ;HORNG, JH ;CHEN, SP ;FU, CMWU, KHItem type:Item, FABRICATION AND PROPERTIES OF DC-SPUTTERED TL-1223 SUPERCONDUCTING THIN-FILMS(1995-06-01) ;JUANG, JY ;HORNG, JH ;LIN, HC ;WANG, SJFU, CMA multi-step deposition and post annealing scheme has been developed for preparing nearly single phase, c-axis oriented TlBa2Ca2Cu3O9 (Tl-1223) superconducting thin films by dc-sputtering. The effects of the compensates used during post annealing on final phase formation suggest the crucial role played by thermodynamic conditions and further validates the viability of the present process scheme. In particular, films obtained by the present process have shown, for the first time in this system, a critical current density (Jc) above 10(6) A/cm(2) at 17 K with a zero- resistance transition temperature (Tco) above 110 K. The results are attributed to the improvement of film morphology, specifically a decreased density of weak-linking.Item type:Item, MICROWAVE-ENHANCED SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AND TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF Y-BA-CU-O BICRYSTAL WEAK-LINKS(1995-06-01) ;FU, CM ;JUANG, JY ;CHEN, MF ;WU, KHUEN, TMThe effects of the tilt angle on microwave-enhanced transition temperatures and critical currents of YBCO bicrystal weak-links have been investigated. It was found that, with smaller grain boundary tilt angles (e.g. 24 degrees), the enhancement was small, displaying essentially the same behavior as that manifested in intragranular regions. By contrast, when the tilt angle was increased from 36.8 degrees to 45 degrees, noticeable Tc enhancement was found to occur even at low input microwave powers. The results were compared to the temperature dependent critical current, in order to delineate possible correlations between the two physical parameters.Item type:Item, ON THE INTERSECTIONS OF LATIN SQUARES WITH HOLES(1989-05-01) ;FU, CM ;FU, HL ;應用數學系Department of Applied MathematicsItem type:Item, THE INTERSECTIONS OF COMMUTATIVE LATIN SQUARES(1991-12-01) ;FU, CM ;FU, HL ;GUO, SH ;應用數學系Department of Applied MathematicsA latin square of order n is an nxn array such that each of the integers 1,2,...,n (or any set of n distinct symbols) occurs exactly once in each row and each column. A latin square L = [l(i),j] is said to be commutative provided that l(i),j = l(j),i for all i and j. Two latin squares, L = [l(i),j] and M = [m(i),j], are said to have intersection k if there are exactly k cells (i,j) such that l(i),j = m(i),j. Let I[n] = {0,1,2,...,n2-9,n2-8,n2-6,n2}, H[n] = I[n] union {n2-7,n2-4}, and J[n] be the set of all integers k such that there exists a pair of commutative latin squares of order n which have intersection k. In this paper, we prove that J[n] = I[n] for each odd n greater-than-or-equal-to 7, J[n] = H[n] for each even n greater-than-or-equal-to 6, and give a list of J[n] for n less-than-or-equal-to 5. This totally solves the intersection problem of two commutative latin squares.Item type:Item, THE MUTUAL INTERSECTIONS OF 3 DISTINCT 1-FACTORIZATIONS(1989-12-01) ;FU, CM ;FU, HL ;應用數學系Department of Applied Mathematics
