    An asynchronous rational harmonic mode-locked fiber laser (ARHML) is demonstrated experimentally. Through the asynchronous mode-locking mechanism, the output pulse train has a wider optical spectrum and very uniform amplitudes with the un-wanted harmonic frequency components highly suppressed.     Modelocked fiber lasers have become an platform for investigating new soliton phenomena. Laser dynamics of two interesting high-repetition-rate new fiber soliton lasers (asynchronous modelocked and phase-modulation-induced bound-state) are investigated both theoretically and experimentally.
