Item type:Item, Dual robust controller design for high power AC servo drive(2008) ;Cheng, Stone ;Huang, Yuan-Yong ;Chou, Hsin-Hung ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringHigh power AC motors have a highly interacting multivariable control structure, and it is difficult to design high dynamic performance AC drive with traditional PID-like controller for high power AC servo motor. This paper presents analysis, design and simulation of velocity, loop dual robust controller for 11kw permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) in the AC servo system. By combining PDFF-MA and H-infinity control algorithms with its own capability of achieving good performance criteria such as dynamic reference tracking and load torque disturbance rejection, The PDFF-MA controller is designed and analyzed in the forward loop to provide low frequency stiffness and overcome low-frequency disturbances like friction. To compensate the system response, moving average(MA) error filter is added. While in the feedback loop, H-infinity controller is designed to meet system robust stability with the existence of external disturbance and model perturbations. The proposed PDFF-MA and H-infinity controllers are designed based on the transfer function of the poly-phase synchronous machine in the synchronous reference frame at field orientation control (FOC). The parameter variations, load changes, and set-point variations of synchronous machine are taking into consideration to study the dynamic performance.Item type:Item, Generalization of all stabilizing compensators for finite-dimensional linear systems(2007-11-01) ;Huang, Yuan-Yong ;Lee, An-Chen ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringFor finite-dimensional linear systems, the Youla-Kucera parameterization (YKP) with a Q parameter over RH infinity is assumed to satisfy the Diophantine identity. However, the stability is guaranteed if the Diophantine equation is the "U(RH infinity)" equality, but not if it is the "identity" equality. However, Vidyasagar's structure with an H parameter over U(RH infinity) is an observer-controller configuration that satisfies the Diophantine equation. This study discusses the deficiency of the Diophantine identity; expands the YKP using an H parameter over U(RH infinity), and expands the Vidyasagar's structure using a Q(v) parameter over RH infinity so that both of the expanded parameterizations satisfy the Diophantine equation and are equivalent for all stabilizing compensators. Moreover, an equation that relates to Q, Q(v), and H will be introduced to establish relationships among the YKP, Vidyasagar's structure and both expanded parameterizations. VS has a unit matrix parameter H similar to the Q parameter for the Youla-Kucera parameterization. VS can be designed based on the left coprimeness of the central controller in the H(infinity)-loop shaping design procedure (H(infinity)-LSDP) and therefore can preserve the intrinsic properties of the H(infinity)-LSDP. This paper introduces algebraic methods to simplify the design of H in the VS controller by solving specific algebraic equations. In particular, the algebraic design of H can achieve two things. First, a dynamic H adjusts the tracking performance and yields the integral action. Second, a dynamic H rejects the input and output sinusoidal disturbances with known frequencies. These attributes are indications of the flexibility of the proposed method since the output-feedback controller design of the H(infinity)-LSDP cannot easily deal with such conditions. This paper discusses the achieved loop and the closed-loop behavior of the system with VS, and also gives two numerical examples. The first example shows that the proposed method results in a better design in many aspects than the resulting from H(infinity)-LSDP. The second example shows the application of the proposed method to rejecting input and output step disturbances, and input and output multiple sinusoidal disturbances, for which the H(infinity)-LSDP can hardly be used.
