Item type:Item, Effects of cathode humidification on the gas-liquid interface location in a PEM fuel cell(2006-10-27) ;Lee, Chun-I ;Chu, Hsin-Sen ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringThis study investigates the location of the gas-liquid interface under various humidity conditions in the cathode gas diffusion layer and the conventional flow field of a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC), using commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFDRC) analysis, based on a three-dimensional steady state isothermal model. The effects of the formation of liquid water on the transport of reactant gas are considered in the model. The simulation results indicate that the gas-liquid interface approaches the gas flow channel inlet and the cell performance declines gradually as liquid water obstructs the pores in the porous media as the relative humidity of the cathode is increased. Additionally, the oxygen fraction, the water fraction and the liquid water saturation field along the flow channel are presented. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. A mathematical model, coupled with the electrochemical process, two-phase flows, species transfer, and heat transfer is employed. A finite volume-based CFD approach is applied to investigate the species transport behavior in a fuel cell. The effects of two model parameters, namely cell temperature (T-cell) and humidification temperature (T-h), on the gas-liquid interface and cell performance are presented. Simulation results indicate that variations of these two parameters influence the location of the gas-liquid interface, the cell performance, and the distribution of liquid water saturation. At lower cell temperatures, the gas-liquid interface moves toward the inlet port of the channel when the humidification temperature is greater than the cell temperature. Therefore, the cell performance decreases as the liquid water clogs the passage for the transport of oxygen. Furthermore, these two factors are closely related to the membrane temperature distribution. Obvious variations in magnitude are seen at a cell temperature of 323 K and a humidification temperature of 343 K. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. Little Hero was later super famous in 1960s. However, Taiwanese comics culture has declined due to various historical background, which caused younger generation know little about Taiwanese comics. We did this derivative work with VR and AR technology based on one of the classic story in Little Hero called "Little Hero Wins the Masks" The features of this work are: (1) Develop the technology that connect VR and interactive game table together to improve the insufficiency of sociability in VR games; (2) The feedback of handheld controller and the game card of interactive game table are designed to improve interactivity in the game (See Figure 1).
