Item type:Item, An empirical study of the Taiwan National Quality Award causal model(2003-10-01) ;Su, CT ;Li, SC ;Su, CH ;工業工程與管理學系Department of Industrial Engineering and ManagementIn this study, the Taiwan National Quality Award (TNQA) is discussed in terms of a modelling approach for the first time since it was founded in 1990. A survey instrument involving 105 questions extracted from the 2001 TNQA criteria serves to measure the content of the TNQA. A causal model is proposed to reveal the relationships among TNQA categories. Structural equation modelling (SEM) is used to analyse the model and estimate path coefficients among TNQA categories. The statistical results show that many of the hypothesized causal relationships in the TNQA model are statistically significant. From path coefficients, the category of Leadership has a strong influence on that of Information Management. Simultaneously, Information Management has impacts on other TNQA system categories. Information Management is confirmed as an internal driver of TNQA system categories. Both Leadership and Innovation and Strategic Management show direct influence on Business Results. Generally, several conclusions are made as follows. First, the assumption that the TNQA model is recursive is supported by statistical results. Secondly, the prior theory of this causal model that Leadership is a driver of the system, which creates results is confirmed. Thirdly, the final causal model also represents an excellent model of business performance, which can predict expected results through system paths. Other conclusions and findings are discussed in the study.Item type:Item, Low-power fully integrated and tunable CMOS RF wireless receiver for ISM band consumer applications(2005-09-01) ;Li, SC ;Kao, HS ;Chen, CP ;Su, CC交大名義發表A 0.25-mu m single-chip CMOS single-conversion tunable low intermediate frequency (IF) receiver operated in the 902-928-MHz industrial, scientific, and medical band is proposed. A new 10.7-MHz IF section that contains a limiting amplifier and a frequency modulated/frequency-shift-key demodulator is designed. The frequency to voltage conversion gain of the demodulator is 15 mV/kHz and the dynamic range of the limiting amplifier is around 80 dB. The sensitivity of the IF section including the demodulator and limiting amplifier is -72 dBm. With on-chip tunable components in the low-power low-noise amplifier (LNA) and LC-tank voltage-controlled oscillator circuit, the receiver measures an RF gain of 15 dB at 915 MHz, a sensitivity of -80 dBm at 0.1% bit-error rate, an input referred third-order intercept point of -9 dBm, and a noise figure of 5 dB with a current consumption of 33 mA and a 2450 mu m x 2450 mu m chip area.Item type:Item, Order parameter of MgB2: A fully gapped superconductor(2001-10-15) ;Yang, HD ;Lin, JY ;Li, HH ;Hsu, FHLiu, CJWe have measured the low-temperature specific heat C(T) for polycrystalline MgB2 prepared by high pressure synthesis. C(T) below 10 K vanishes exponentially, which unambiguously indicates a fully opened superconducting energy gap. However, this gap is found to be too small to account for T, of MgB2. Together with the small specific heat jump DeltaC/gamma T-n(c) = 1.09, scenarios such as anisotropic s-wave or multicomponent order parameter are called for. The magnetic field dependence of gamma (H) is neither linear for a fully gapped s-wave superconductor nor H-1/2 for nodal order parameter. It seems that this intriguing behavior of gamma (H) is associated with the intrinsic electronic properties other than flux pinning.
