Item type:Item, Low temperature polycrystalline silicon thin film transistors fabricated by amorphous silicon spacer structure with pre-patterned TEOS oxide layer(2005) ;Cheng, Huang-Chung ;Tsai, Chun-Chien ;Lu, Jian-Hao ;Chang, Ting-KuoLin, Ching-WeiIn this paper, location-controlled grain growth with a-Si spacer structure was fabricated. Consequently, High-performance poly-Si TFTs with field-effect mobility exceeding 367 cm(2)/V-s and high device uniformity have been fabricated. The excellent electrical characteristics is attributed to large grain and grain boundary elimination in the channel region.Item type:Item, New Idea of Multi-Objective Programming with Changeable Spaces for Improving the Unmanned Factory Planning(2014-01-01) ;Gwo-HshiungTzeng ;Huang, Kuan-Wei ;Lin, Ching-Wei ;Yuan, Benjamin J. C.管理科學系Business decision-makers need various decision analyses to meet highly competitive environments. With increasing cost of intensive workforce and lowering marginal-profit products, how to break the limitation of resources and optimally reallocate all of the precious resources is the major issue to create the competitive advantages in the high-technology industry. Moreover, the second industrial upgrading has developed industrial robots in some production processes for providing more value-added production activities. Therefore, this study proposed a new idea of multi-objective programming with changeable spaces (decision space and objective space) named changeable spaces programming extending the concept of De Novo programming. The best production resources reallocation in re-designing the decision space can be considered how to improve the multi-objective of unmanned factory planning in a high-technology firm for achieving aspiration level. This method provides decision analysis planning and not only to reach ideal point but also how achieve aspiration level in resource reallocation/redesign. A numerical example illustrates how to release the trade-offs between industrial robots and a workforce subject to constrains of the wafer manufacturing and how stage by stage to improve each objective for closing aspiration level in objective space. Computational results are demonstrated supporting the proposed model is easily implemented with flexible effort in practical.Item type:Item, Periodically lateral silicon grains fabricated by excimer laser irradiation with a-Si spacers for LTPS TFTs(2007) ;Cheng, Huang-Chung ;Tsai, Chun-Chien ;Lu, Jian-Hao ;Chen, Hsu-HsinChen, Bo-TingLow-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistors (TFTs) with a periodic lateral silicon grain structure have been demonstrated to exhibit high-performance electrical characteristics via the amorphous silicon spacers above the amorphous silicon film crystallized with excimer laser. Amorphous silicon spacers allowed the bottom of the under-layered amorphous silicon film to serve as seed crystals. The periodic grain structure could be artificially controlled via the super lateral growth phenomenon during excimer laser irradiation. Consequently, such periodically large and lateral grains in the TFTs would achieve high field-effect-mobility of 298 cm(2)/V s, as compared with the conventional ones of 128 cm(2)/V s. In addition, the uniformity of device-to-device could be improved due to this location-manipulated lateral silicon grains. The Au dendrites possessed a hierarchical architecture with three-fold symmetry; they comprised trunks, branches, and nanorod leaves, which all grew along the < 111 > direction.Item type:Item, The concepts of big data applied in personal knowledge management(2017-01-01) ;Liu, Che-Hung ;Wang, Jen Sheng ;Lin, Ching-Wei ;交大名義發表National Chiao Tung UniversityPurpose - The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the applications of big data in personal knowledge management (PKM). Design/methodology/approach - Five conventional knowledge management dimensions, namely, the value of data, data collection, data storage, data application and data presentation, were applied for integrating big data in the context of PKM. Findings - This study concludes that time management, computer usage efficiency management, mobile device usage behavior management, health management and browser surfing management are areas where big data can be applied to PKM. Originality/value - While the literature discusses PKM without considering the impact of big data, this paper aims to extend existing knowledge by demonstrating the application of big data in PKM.
