Item type:Item, An Embedded Mobile ECG Reasoning System for Elderly Patients(2010-05-01) ;Shih, Dong-Her ;Chiang, Hsiu-Sen ;Lin, Binshan ;Lin, Shih-Bin資訊管理與財務金融系 註:原資管所+財金所With the increase in the number senior citizens and chronic diseases, the number of elderly patients who need constant assistance has increased. One key point of all critical care for elderly patient is the continuous monitoring of their vital signs. Among these, the ECG signal is used for noninvasive diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Also, there is a pressing need to have a proper system in place for patient identification. Errors in patient identification, and hence improper administration of medication can lead to disastrous results. This paper proposes a novel embedded mobile ECG reasoning system that integrates ECG signal reasoning and RF identification together to monitor an elderly patient. As a result, our proposed method has a good accuracy in heart beat recognition, and enables continuous monitoring and identification of the elderly patient when alone. Moreover, in order to examine and validate our proposed system, we propose a managerial research model to test whether it can be implemented in a medical organization. The results prove that the mobility, usability, and performance of our proposed system have impacts on the user's attitude, and there is a significant positive relation between the user's attitude and the intent to use our proposed system.Item type:Item, An implementation framework for E-Government 2.0(2015-08-01) ;Sun, Po-Ling ;Ku, Cheng-Yuan ;Shih, Dong-Her ;資訊管理與財務金融系 註:原資管所+財金所Department of Information Management and FinanceThe E-Government standard describes how governments work, share information and deliver services to external and internal stakeholders. It harnesses information and communication technologies (ICTs) to transform relationships with citizens and businesses and between the branches of government. The benefits may include reduced corruption, increased transparency, greater convenience, higher revenues, and lower costs. The current E-Government 2.0 describes user-oriented portal services that are integrated into and provided through one portal site using Web 2.0 technologies, such as RSS, blogs, social networks, etc., and that are accessible from various channels. However, building E-Government 2.0 is difficult because the transition from E-Government to E-Government 2.0 should be an organizational integration agenda, not only a technology one. Agencies may encounter many unpredictable design challenges and tensions that must be managed. Governments are now beginning to focus on the larger and more holistic task of service innovation in order to provide more productive and better services. One of the key observations about making progress with service innovation is that agencies need a framework to help them move forward. Our objective in this study is to propose a novel implementation framework for E-Government 2.0. This framework integrates the processes, resources, back offices, and front offices of online systems to carry out the stakeholder-oriented participatory E-Government 2.0. Finally, we use Korea, Antigua and Barbuda, and Ecuador as cases to validate it. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. The key point of all critical care of elderly is the continuous monitoring of their vital signs. Among these, the ECG signal is used to noninvasive diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Also, there is a pressing need to have a proper system in place for patient identification. Errors in patient identification and hence improper administrator of medication can lead to disastrous results. This paper proposes an embedded mobile ECG reasoning system, which integrates ECG signal reasoning and RFID identification systems for elderly people monitoring. This system enables continuous monitoring and identification of elderly people.Item type:Item, Security aspects of mobile phone virus: a critical survey(2008) ;Shih, Dong-Her ;Lin, Binshan ;Chiang, Hslu-Sen ;Shih, Ming-Hung電子工程學系及電子研究所Purpose - The paper's aim is to provide information about mobile viruses for end-users or organizations and recommend useful tips of how individuals can protect their mobile phones from the intrusion of mobile phone viruses. Design/methodology/approach - This paper surveys chronicle, securities, risks and countermeasure of mobile phone viruses.
