Item type:Item, Autonomous ratio-memory cellular nonlinear network (ARMCNN) for pattern learning and recognition(2006) ;Wu, Chung-Yu ;Tsai, Su-Yung ;電機學院College of Electrical and Computer EngineeringA new type of CNN associative memory called the Autonomous ratio-memory Cellular Nonlinear Network (ARMCNN) is proposed and analyzed. In the proposed ARMCNN, the input noisy patterns am sent into the cells as the initial cell state voltages. The proposed ARMCNN has the advantages of higher recognition rate (RR), higher number of learned and recognized patterns, and smaller signal ranges of cell state voltages. The RR of the ARMCNN is also modeled as the integration of the probability functions in the convergent regions of the phase plane plot of cell state voltages. Theoretical calculation results are consistent with simulation results.Item type:Item, Stability Analysis of Autonomous Ratio-Memory Cellular Nonlinear Networks for Pattern Recognition(2010-08-01) ;Tsai, Su-Yung ;Wang, Chi-Hsu ;Wu, Chung-Yu ;電子工程學系及電子研究所Department of Electronics Engineering and Institute of ElectronicsThe stability analysis via the Lyapunov theorem for Autonomous Ratio-Memory Cellular Nonlinear Networks (ARMCNNs) is proposed. A conservative domain of attraction (DOA) is found from the stability analysis through a graphical method without complicated numerical analysis. The stability analysis shows that ARMCNNs can tolerate large ratio weight variations. This paper also presents the ARMCNN with self-feedback (SARMCNN) to overcome the problem of isolated neurons due to low correlation between neighboring neurons. The SARMCNN recognition rate (RR) is compared with other CNN constructed via the singular value decomposition technique (SVD-CNN).
