Item type:Item, Chaos synchronization by variable strength linear coupling and Lyapunov function derivative in series form(2008-12-15) ;Ge, Zheng-Ming ;Tsen, Pu-Chien ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringA new general strategy to achieve chaos synchronization by variable strength linear Coupling without another active control is proposed. They give the criteria of chaos synchronization for two identical chaotic systems and two different chaotic dynamic systems with variable strength linear coupling. In this method, the time derivative of Lyapunov function in series form is firstly used. Lorenz system, Duffing system, Rossler system and Hyper-Rossler system are presented as simulated examples. Pragmatical synchronization is based on pragmatical theorem of asymptotical stability in which the probability concept is introduced in concept of stability. By pragmatical adaptive synchronization, not only the synchronization of chaotic systems but also the parameter pursuance is accomplished. Furthermore, Lyapunov function derivative in series form is first used in this paper, which is easier to be obtained than the traditional negative sum of the square of error variables. Lorenz system, Duffing system and Flossier system are illustrated examples.Item type:Item, Synchronization of chaotic system with uncertain variable parameters by linear coupling and pragmatical adaptive tracking(2012-11-01) ;Yang, Cheng-Hsiung ;Li, Shih-Yu ;Tsen, Pu-Chien ;電控工程研究所腦科學研究中心We study the synchronization of general chaotic systems which satisfy the Lipschitz condition only, with uncertain variable parameters by linear coupling and pragmatical adaptive tracking. The uncertain parameters of a system vary with time due to aging, environment, and disturbances. A sufficient condition is given for the asymptotical stability of common zero solution of error dynamics and parameter update dynamics by the Ge-Yu-Chen pragmatical asymptotical stability theorem based on equal probability assumption. Numerical results are studied for a Lorenz system and a quantum cellular neural network oscillator to show the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization strategy.Item type:Item, The theorems of unsynchronizability and synchronization for coupled chaotic systems(2007) ;Ge, Zheng-Ming ;Tsen, Pu-Chien ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringChaos synchronization has been widely studied and many control methods have been presented, but up to now no criterion has been given for unsynchronizability of two coupled chaotic systems. The unsynchronizability means that the state variables of response system cannot approach to that of driving system forever. In this paper, we propose two theorems which give the criteria of unsynchronizability for two different chaotic dynamic systems and enhance a sufficient criterion for synchronization to necessary and sufficient one. Three simulated examples are given.Item type:Item, Two theorems of generalized unsynchronization for coupled chaotic systems(2008-12-01) ;Ge, Zheng-Ming ;Tsen, Pu-Chien ;機械工程學系Department of Mechanical EngineeringGeneralized chaos synchronization has been widely studied and many control methods have been presented, but up to now no criterion has been given for generalized unsynchronization. The generalized unsynchronization means that the state variables of two coupled chaotic systems cannot approach generalized synchronization. In this paper, we propose two theorems which give the criteria of generalized unsynchronization for two different chaotic dynamic systems with whatever large strength of linear coupling. Two simulated examples are also given. (C) 2008 Published by Elsevier Ltd
