Item type:Item, All-Solution-Processed Multilayered Small-Molecule OLEDs with High Device Efficiency(2009) ;Tseng, Hsin-Rong ;Meng, Hsin-Fei ;You, Jia-Da ;Horng, Sheng-FuYen, Feng-WenAll-solution-processed multilayer blue small molecular organic light-emitting diodes are fabri-cated by blade coating method. Fluorescent blue host,1-(7-(9,9'-bianthracen-10-yl)- 9,9-dioctyl-9H-fluoren-2-yl)pyrene, and blue dopant, 4,4'-(IE,I'E)-2,2'(naphthalene-2,6-diyl)bis(ethene-2,1-diyl)bis(N,N-bis(4-hexylphenyl)aniline), are synthesized to achieve good solubility and pinhole free thin film by solution process. The multilayer device structure with holelelectron transport layer is achieved by blade coating method without the dissolution problem between layers. The efficiency of the all-solution-processed device is 4.8 cd/A at 1,200 cd/m(2), close to that by thermal deposition in high vacuum chamber.Item type:Item, Apparatus and method for forming multilayer polymer thin film(2010-01-28) ;Meng, Hsin-Fei ;Horng, Sheng-Fu ;Tseng, Hsin-RongTuan, Chi-ShenApparatus and method for forming multilayer polymer thin film. The method uses a solution container with a gap to prevent the huge amount of solution from directly falling on the first layer. Then the wet film is formed by moving the container with the thin film thickness is decided by the distance between the gap and the substrate. The wet film is dried in a very short time by the heater therefore there is no time for the second solvent to dissolve the first layer. The method can effectively achieve the large-area and multilayer structure in organic devices through solution processing.Item type:Item, Multilayer polymer light-emitting diodes by blade coating method(2008-01-01) ;Tseng, Hsin-Rong ;Meng, Hsin-Fei ;Lee, Kuan-Chen ;Horng, Sheng-Fu物理研究所Multilayer polymer light-emitting diodes (PLED) fabricated by blade coating are presented Multilayer of polymers can be easily deposited by blade coating on a hot plate. The multilayer structure is confirmed by the total thickness and cross section view in scanning electron microscope. The efficiency of single layer po4y(para-phenylene vinylene) copolymer SuperYellow and poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) (PFO, deep blue) device are 9 cd/A and 1.7 cd/A respectively by blade coating. The efficiency of the PFO device is raised to 2.3 cd/A with a poly 9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-co- (4,4'-(N-(4-see-butylphenyl))diphenylamine)] (TFB) electron-blocking layer added by blade coating.Item type:Item, Organic optoelectronic component(2010-06-09) ;Meng, Hsin-Fei ;Horng, Sheng-Fu ;Tseng, Hsin-RongLi, Guan-Cheng National Chiao Tung UniversityAn organic optoelectronic component is provided, which includes a first electrode, an active layer formed on the first electrode, a second intermediate layer formed on the active layer, and a second electrode formed on the second intermediate layer, wherein the second intermediate layer is formed with a second mixture containing a second polymer and at least a second organic molecule. The highest occupied molecular orbitals (HOMO) of the hole blocking layer is at least 0.3 eV higher than that of the donor portion. Therefore, the optoelectronic device efficiently suppresses dark current so as to enhance sensitivity when applied to a detector.Item type:Item, Organic semiconductor infrared distance sensing apparatus and organic infrared emitting apparatus thereof(2010-06-03) ;Meng, Hsin-Fei ;Horng, Sheng-Fu ;Tseng, Hsin-Rong ;Yang, Chia-MingChen, En-ChenAn organic semiconductor infrared distance sensing apparatus and an organic infrared emitting apparatus thereof are disclosed. The organic semiconductor infrared distance sensing apparatus comprises an organic infrared emitting apparatus and an organic infrared receiving apparatus. The organic infrared emitting apparatus has a positive electrode layer and a negative electrode layer to form an electric field, and organic light emitting molecules are sandwiched between the two layers and correspond to the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. Under a positive bias, a plurality of electrons and holes are respectively injected from electrodes and recombine with each other to emit photons. An infrared organic conversion layer absorbs and transfers the energy to infrared emitting molecules to emit infrared light. The organic infrared receiving apparatus receives the infrared light reflected by an obstacle to generate photocurrent which varies with distance, thereby sensing the distance between the obstacle and the apparatus.
