Item type:Item, Corporate social responsibility on customer behaviour: the mediating role of corporate image and customer satisfaction(2020-05-18) ;Wang, Chih-Chuan ;交大名義發表National Chiao Tung UniversityCorporate social responsibility (CSR) plays an important role in corporate profits, corporate reputation, and consumer attitudes; it has been identified as a critical marketing strategy for enterprise business activities and corporate sustainable development. How does CSR influence the consumer behaviour towards profit making for the enterprise? This issue has been an important research topic in the enterprise and management areas. Nevertheless, the mechanisms underlying how CSR can affect the consumer behavioural intention (CBI) have rarely been addressed in the literature. This study investigates the relationship between CSR and CBI, emphasising on using corporate image and customer satisfaction as the mediate factors. Focusing on the bicycle industry, a total number of 491 valid questionnaires from the consumers are retrieved and are then analyzed using the structural equation modelling. Our analyses show that CSR has a positive effect on corporate image, customer satisfaction, and price premium. In addition, CSR can affect the customer behavioural intention (purchase intention and price premium) through enhancing corporate image and customer satisfaction. Our results clarify the relationship between CSR and CBI, and can offer a sound academic support for future related research and practical applications.Item type:Item, Design and Implement a Mobile Badminton Stroke Classification System(2017-01-01) ;Lin, Juyi ;Chang, Chia-Wei ;Wang, Chih-Hao ;Chi, Hong-ChuanYi, Chih-WeiThe use of the badminton stroke strategy in the evenly matched game is often the key to victory. In this work, a smart racket based on wearable seusors is proposed to collect the data of swing of badminton. A cell phone APP with machine learning techniques is implemented to record stroke types automatically. In each stroke hit event, this prototype system uses Bluetooth earphone to collect the sound for detecting the accuracy time. It uses the data of IMU in each stroke for determining stroke type. Compared to IMU only solution, the system will reduce the false count of stroke hit. Using cloud techniques could record the training and game record in a long period. Overall the accuracy of stroke hit event is almost 100% by using voice print. The data of IMU is classified by Random Forest or SMO. The accuracy for personal model is 95.91 %, and it is 79.32% for general model. We develop a stroke record system which is combined with Wearable sensor, Mobile platform and Cloud service.Item type:Item, The Relationship Among Academic Self-concept, Learning Strategies, and Academic Achievement: A Case Study of National Vocational College Students in Taiwan via SEM(2015-06-01) ;Chen, Bryan H. ;Chiu, Wan-Ching ;Wang, Chih-Chuan ;交大名義發表National Chiao Tung UniversityThis study focuses on the effect of academic self-concept on the use of learning strategies conducive to academic achievement. Data from 407 national vocational college students in Taiwan were analyzed by structural equation modeling through the LISREL 8.80 version. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: (a) academic self-concept has a significant positive effect on deep, surface and strategic approaches, as well as academic achievement, (b) of all the learning strategies, strategic approach has a significant positive effect, and surface approach has a significant negative effect on academic achievement, and (c) strategic approach mediated a positive relationship between academic self-concept and academic achievement. Overall, these findings suggest that higher level educators may offer positive encouragement to increase students' learning motivation, efficiency, and self-concept and assist in the development of recognition concerning self-learning and meta-cognitive skills. These findings may help students to select the best learning approaches and improve their academic performance. Implications for the design of educational models and curricula in vocational college education are also discussed.
