Item type:Item, Analyze the Business Service Models of Electric Vehicles (EV) Based Batteries(2013) ;Kuan-ChungLin ;Yin, Cunyi ;Wang, Jen-Sheng ;Shyu, Joseph Z.科技管理研究所This research mainly applied innovation intensive service matrix as basic structure to set up position analysis of the electric vehicles (EV) based batteries service industry. It inducts the positions of four EV based batteries service models, which leading by different type manufacturers, per the viewpoints from EV manufactures, EV based batteries manufacturers and R&D institutes. It analyzes, and then conducts the approach to cut to EV batteries industry service model, and finds out the critical success factors of EV batteries industry, and finally provides future administration strategies of service models. The results of the studies indicates: Service Model A moves from unique package structure of product innovation at present to unique package structure of structure innovation in future; Service Model B moves from unique package structure of product innovation at present to restricted package structure of structure innovation in future; Service Model C moves from unique package structure of structure innovation at present to generic package structure of market innovation in future; Service Model D moves from restricted package structure of process innovation at present to generic package structure of market innovation in future.Item type:Item, Applying Fuzzy AHP to Study the KSFs of Information Security Management(2011-01-01) ;Wang, Jen-Sheng ;Liu, Che-Hung ;Shyu, Joseph Z. ;Huang, Hsiao-Wen交大名義發表The launch of the digital era has made information security management a most significant and critical issue. However, perfect information security management requires certain factors for complete success. This study aims to collect Key Success Factors (KSFs) for information security management through literature review and design of a questionnaire survey. This comprises four major aspects: (1) External dimension, (2) Internal dimension, (3) Technology dimension, and (4) Execution dimension. Based on these, we proceed with categorization and analysis using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP or FAHP), which was applied to this study to overcome the seeming failure of general Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in dealing with respondents' impersonal differences in paired comparison. The ordered ranking of objectives under each aspect is: system, human resource, security function, organization, performance, operation, market, and legislation. The results sifted from the FAHP approach suggest five top key success factors: "Training Plan", "MIS Staffing", "System Structure", "Regulation", and "Maintain Service".Item type:Item, Applying Fuzzy AHP to Study the KSFs of Information Security Management(2011-01-01) ;Wang, Jen-Sheng ;Liu, Che-Hung ;Shyu, Joseph Z. ;Huang, Hsiao-Wen科技管理研究所The launch of the digital era has made information security management a most significant and critical issue. Biometrics has been applied in specific areas for decades and proliferated in customer and resident electronic products to enhance security and privacy. This study evaluated biometrics through conventional technology assessment considerations combined with viewpoints from the particularity of biometric technologies and provides suggestions for selection. In order to achieve biometric technology assessment, we examined how different evaluating objects, technology assessment, biometric competence and key elements of biometric, lead to corresponding biometric technologies. The relative importance of each object was evaluated using the analytic hierarchy process. The weight of each object was adjusted separately to construct evaluating scenarios by sensitivity analysis. The results show that fingerprint recognition, iris recognition and palm print recognition are three biometric technologies that could meet the three objects requirements at the same time.Item type:Item, Evaluating and selecting the biometrics in network security(2015-03-25) ;Liu, Che-Hung ;Wang, Jen-Sheng ;Peng, Chih-Chiang ;Shyu, Joseph Z.科技管理研究所Since Apple merged with AuthenTec, a leading fingerprint recognition company, in 2012, biometrics has widely been considered to strengthen security and privacy in the network security field. Although biometrics has been applied in specific areas for decades, it has gradually proliferated in customer and mobile electronic products to enhance security and privacy. This study aims to evaluate biometrics through conventional technology assessment considerations combined with viewpoints on the specifics of biometric technologies and then to provide suggestions for selection. To conduct the biometric technology assessment, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and non-fuzzy best performance approaches are used. Although the outcomes first indicate that technology assessment should be the key object in selecting biometric technologies, that object is followed by biometric competence and key elements of biometrics. The outcomes also indicate that features of the target technologies should be considered when evaluating them. Additionally, fingerprint recognition, iris recognition, and face recognition are the preferred biometrics in evaluation and selection. R. ;科技管理研究所Institute of Management of TechnologyThe debut of the Cloud Computing generation has made information security managing a most significant and critical issue. However, the successful management of information security in cloud computing requires certain factors. This study aims to collect Key Success Factors (KSFs) that determine the management information security in cloud computing through literature review and design of a questionnaire survey. This comprises four major aspects: (1) External dimension, (2) Internal dimension, (3) Technology dimension, and (4) Execution dimension. Based on these, we proceed with categorization and analysis using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP or FAHP), which we applied in this study to overcome the seeming failure of general Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in dealing with respondents' impersonal differences in paired comparison. The objectives under each aspect ranked in order from security function, system, organization, operation, market, legislation, human resource, to mechanism. The results sifted from the FAHP approach suggest six top key success factors: "Authentication", "Disclosure Preventing", "Encryption", "Service Model", "Interface", and "Customer". Different to conventional information security, security in cloud computing emphasizes more market-oriented factors.Item type:Item, Service Innovation Elements in Energy Service Company (ESCO) Business Model(2012) ;Shyu, Joseph Z. ;Wang, Jen-Sheng ;Peng, Chih-Chiang ;Tang, Ying-Hwa科技管理研究所In recent years, Energy Service Company (ESCO) has been vigorously promoted around the world to engage the challenges of energy efficiency and security, as well as the intensification of the sustainable environment management. Since ESCO were launched in 1980s, ESCO has gradually integrated various service innovation elements, may including innovation sources, service value activities and service externalities. This study aims to assess the service innovations and the service package structure within ESCO. The fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is used to resolve the multi-goal problem for achieving our research purposes. That is, this research attempts to reveal the service package structures for the purposes of ESCO with having service innovation elements. The results first show that service value activities is the most important object to the development of service innovations within ESCO, followed by the service externalities and innovation sources. Additionally, selective service package structure would be the more advantageous service package structure utilized in meeting the ESCO goals.
