Item type:Item, A Low-Profile Switchable Quadripolarization Diversity Aperture-Coupled Patch Antenna(2009) ;Wang, Shi-Yung ;Lai, Don-Yen ;Chen, Fu-Chiarng ;電信工程研究所Institute of Communications EngineeringIn this letter, we present a low-profile switchable quadripolarization diversity aperture-coupled patch antenna. The proposed antenna can provide four polarization states by controlling the dc bias voltage of four p-i-n diodes in the feeding network. The experimental results validate the novel antenna provides polarization diversity features for wireless local area networks (WLANs) and multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems.Item type:Item, The Multi-Band EBG Characteristic of The Mushroom Structure with The Suspending Microstrip line(2012) ;Wang, Shi-Yung ;Chen, Fu-Chiarng ;電機工程學系Department of Electrical and Computer EngineeringMushroom structure exhibits unique electromagnetic properties that have led to a wide range of application in microwave and antenna community. This paper focuses on the electromagnetic band-gap (EBG) characteristic of the mushroom structure with the suspending microstrip line, and a new concept of the mushroom interlaced periodic arrayal has proposed. By the simulated and measured results, it is verified that the mushroom structure with the suspending micros trip line can generate multi-band EBG characteristic. Moreover, we use the new concept to design a new triplexer circuit. The triplexer can integrate three kinds of communication systems with each other, which operate at frequencies including GSM 1800MHz, WiFi 2.45GHz, and WiMAX 3.5GHz, respectively.Item type:Item, TRI-FREQUENCY DUPLEXER CIRCUIT AND MULTI-FREQUENCY DUPLEXER CIRCUIT(2010-11-11) ;Chen, Fu-ChiarngWang, Shi-YungThe present invention discloses a tri-frequency duplexer circuit and multi-frequency duplexer circuit. The tri-frequency duplexer circuit comprises a microstrip line circuit, two first mushrooms, two second mushrooms and two third mushrooms. The microstrip line circuit comprises a first Input/Output (I/O) port, a second I/O port, a third I/O port and a fourth I/O port. The two first mushrooms are respectively disposed at transmission line paths between the first I/O port and the second I/O port and between the first I/O port and the third I/O port. The two second mushrooms are respectively disposed at transmission line paths between the first I/O port and the second I/O port and between the first I/O port and the fourth I/O port. The two third mushrooms are respectively disposed at transmission line paths between the first I/O port and the third I/O port and between the first I/O port and the fourth I/O port.
