Item type:Item, Parallel-Coupled Filters Using Stepped-Impedance Coupled Lines(2016-01-01) ;Chen, Ting-An ;Wei, Shih-Chiang ;Chou, Po-Jong ;Chang, Chi-Yang電機工程學系A stepped-impedance coupled line (SICLN) is proposed in this paper. The proposed SICLN can be equivalent to a conventional quarter-wave coupled line section at the center frequency. The proposed SICLN is applied to half-and quarter-wave parallel-coupled filters. The proposed filters show both size reduction and better spurious responses.Item type:Item, Thermal Behavior and self-heating effect in pentacene-based thin film transistors(2005) ;Wei, Shih-Chiang ;Lee, Po-Tsung ;Zan, Hsiao-Wen ;Lee, Cheng-ChungHo, Jia-ChongPentacene-based thin film transitors are characterized at four different substrate tempertures (25 degrees C, 45 degrees C, 65 degrees C, and 85 degrees C). The temperature dependence of mobility, threshold voltage, and drain current at and above room temperature is investigated, and self-heating effect is observed and discussed.Item type:Item, V - and W - Band Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Mechanical Switch(2018-06-01) ;Wei, Shih-Chiang ;Yang, Chin-Hao ;Chen, Yen-Cheng ;Chen, Ting-AnChang, Chi-YangThis paper presents high-isolation single-polesingle-throw (SPST) and single-pole-double-throw (SPDT) substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) mechanical switches in V-and W-bands. Four via holes with the proposed ring-andcross etching patterns on the top side are placed in the middle of SIW path to block or pass the waves. As the ring-and-cross etching patterns being short-circuited, the via holes block the waves just like stockades do, in other words, turning the switch to OFF mode. And the ring-and-cross etching pattern makes the via holes invisible, turning the switch to ON mode. The V-and W-band SIW SPST and SPDT switches are designed and fabricated. The switches show the measured performances of better than 45-dB isolation for SPST and better than 50-dB isolation for SPDT, for V-band operation, and a better than 50-dB isolation for both SPST and SPDT for W-band operation.
