Item type:Item, A decision model for IS outsourcing(2000-06-01) ;Yang, CA ;Huang, JB ;經營管理研究所Institute of Business and ManagementInformation systems outsourcing has been one of the critical issues facing IS management recently, but it still stays in the stage of conceptual discussion about how to outsource the IS activities. The determinants used so far, for instance, transaction costs and "strategic" or "commodities" characteristics, are too narrow to help the end users determine if their system should be outsourced. This paper argues that five factors, including management, strategy, economics, technology and quality, should be considered for outsourcing decisions, Furthermore, the paper proposes a decision model, which uses the analytic hierarchy process (AHP! method to help users in structuring the outsourcing problems. The decision model generates numeric values for users to decide whether they should adopt the outsourcing strategy for each IS systems under consideration. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. This paper discusses an innovation representation that links the structure form with the state space model. For the state space model, the recursive Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm is used to estimate the parameters of a structure form. This research successfully applied the Kalman filter method to the estimation of the coefficients of simultaneous equations with overidentifying rank restrictions. The empirical monthly data set came from the medium-size scooter market in Taiwan during 1987 to 1992 period.Item type:Item, Applying Kalman filter on solving simultaneous equations with overidentifying rank restrictions: The analysis of the demand and supply model of medium-size scooter market in Taiwan(1997-01-01) ;Yang, CA ;Chen, WD ;管理科學系Department of Management ScienceOnce the structure form of demand and supply is translated into a reduced form, one can solve the reduced form with a state space model of the Kalman filter method. This study applies the method known as planning assistance through technical evaluation of relevance number (PATTERN) to establish a relevant system for researching the factors, and utilizes the multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate these factors and the importance of the related issues. The conclusion is that if MVNOs and MNOs hope to create a win-win situation, then the following five factors, listed in order of importance, must be considered: supervision mechanism, facilities dependency, product orientation, complementary business models, and capital connections.
