Item type:Item, A Three-Order Equal-Ripple Band-Pass Filtering Antenna Design Using Capacitive-Gap Coupled Asymmetrical-CPW Resonator(2014-01-01) ;Yang, Chao-Shun ;Chen, Ping-Hsu ;Lu, Jeng-Hau ;Jou, Christina F.電信工程研究所In this paper, a three-order equal-ripple band-pass filtering antenna design using capacitive-gap coupled asymmetrical-CPW resonator is presented. The asymmetrical coplanar waveguide consists of the left-side finite ground plane, which is similar to a strip and the right-side ground plane, which is a big ground plane. The operating bandwidth (5150-5825 MHz) was designed using conformal mapping technique and microwave-lter theory. However, it can be an antenna candidate due to the asymmetrical-CPW effect veried by simulated results, which show a -10 dB insertion loss and 70 % radiation effciency.Item type:Item, An Asymmetric Coplanar Waveguide with a Single-Finite Ground Plane(2012) ;Yang, Chao-Shun ;Jou, Christina F. ;電信工程研究所Institute of Communications EngineeringIn this paper, an asymmetric coplanar waveguide with a single-finite ground plane is presented. Three infinite-thin metallic plates are excited in the even mode. The left-side finite ground plane is similar to a strip, and the right-side ground plane is an infinite ground plane. There are four parameters including two-gap width and two-strip width that can be controlled. Utilizing the conformal mapping techniques, the calculated results have a good agreement with full-wave simulation about the electric properties with respect to the structural parameters. It is suitable for a practical 50 Omega line, a high-impedance line, and transition designs.Item type:Item, The Coplanar Waveguide Characteristics Using Hybrid Green's Function and Conformal Mapping Technique(2014-01-01) ;Yang, Chao-Shun ;Jou, Christina F. ;電信工程研究所Institute of Communications EngineeringIn this paper, a simple hybrid method based on green\'s function and conformal mapping technique is presented. Here, an odd-mode symmetrical coplanar waveguide (CPW) dimension is demonstrated by the hybrid method based on the symmetrical boundary condition. Most of important, the simple hybrid method can be a candidate to deal with complicated coupling problem (the odd-mode problem of the asymmetrical CPW) considering appropriate eigenfunction.
