Item type:Item, An Isolated Full-Bridge DC-DC Converter With 1-MHz Bidirectional Communication Channel(2011-09-01) ;Yang, Ru-Shiuan ;Chang, Lon-Kou ;Chen, Hung-Chi ;電機工程學系Department of Electrical and Computer EngineeringThis paper presents a novel isolated full-bridge dc/dc converter with bidirectional communication capability. The transformer in the proposed converter is utilized as an isolation interface for transferring both energy and data. Power delivery and forward data transfer are conducted simultaneously by modifying the full-bridge switching phase. Backward data transfer is realized by manipulating the amplitude of the resonant signal through modulating the impedance of the resonant tank at the secondary side of the transformer. Finally, the operation principle of the proposed converter was verified on a 900-mW prototype operating at 1 MHz from a 12-V dc input.Item type:Item, An Isolated Full-Bridge DC/DC Converter with Bidirectional Communication Capability(2008) ;Chang, Lon-Kou ;Yang, Ru-Shiuan ;交大名義發表National Chiao Tung UniversityThis work presents a novel isolated full-bridge DC/DC converter with bidirectional communication capability. The transformer in the proposed converter is utilized as an isolation interface for transferring energy and data. Power delivery and forward data transfer are conducted simultaneously by modifying the full-bridge switching phase. Backward data transfer is realized by manipulating the amplitude of the resonant signal through modulating the impedance of the resonant tank at the secondary side of the transformer. Finally, the operation principle of the proposed converter was verified on a 280mW prototype operating at 400kHz from a 12V DC input.Item type:Item, Phase Feedforward Control for Single-Phase Boost-Type SMR(2009-05-01) ;Chen, Hung-Chi ;Li, Heng-Yi ;Yang, Ru-Shiuan ;電控工程研究所Institute of Electrical and Control EngineeringIn this letter, a phase feedforward control (PFFC) for a single-phase boost-type switching-mode rectifier is addressed. In the conventional input voltage feedforward loop, the feedforward signal is fixed regardless of the load level. The proposed phase feedforward signal adjusts according to the load level without sensing the load current. The simulated and experimental results also demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed PFFC. Compared to a conventional feedforward signal, relatively small proportional gain can be used in the proposed PFFC without loss of current tracking performance, which would also increase the overall system immunity against noise.
