Item type:Item, 九階十四級顯郎基—顧塔法之研究(交大學刊編輯委員會, 1980-07) ;李家生 ;倪維城 ;J.S.LeeW.C.NiIn this paper , we obtain a reduced system from the original system of the (14,9) exclicit Runge-Kutta method. A set of coefficients for this method is derived in some optimal sense from the reduced system and a numerical example is provided and compared with different order Runge-Kutta methods.Item type:Item, 帕德表中{Rn-3,n(z)}序列之討論(交大學刊編輯委員會, 1976-04) ;倪維城 ;倪陳安娜 ;W.C.NiA.ChenThe basic aim of this paper is to show that a specific sequence {Rn-3,n(z)}n=3 ∞ in the Padé table is bounded along the imaginary axis. Such a result can be applied to verify that {Rn-3,n(z)}n=3 ∞ converges uniformly to e^-z on the sector Sδ≡{z=reiθ:|θ|≦π/2-δ}Item type:Item, 廣義特徵值問題之研究(交大學刊編輯委員會, 1980-04) ;張良杰 ;倪維城 ;L.J.ChangW.C.NiThe localization of eigenvalues of the generalized eigenproblem Ax=λBx,where A and B are M matrices, is studied in this paper. We show that all eigenvalues of the aboue problem lie in an annulus centered at the origin in the complex plane, and the inner and outer radii of the annulus depend only on the moduli of the entries of the matrices A and B.Moreover, a detailed study of eigenvalues appearing on the boundary of the annulus is also being made.Item type:Item, 解析函數中某一特殊族之零點分佈情形(交大學刊編輯委員會, 1976-04) ;倪維城 ;倪陳安娜 ;W.C.NiA.ChenThis paper deals with a specific class S' of entire functions and finds sufficient conditions on the Maclaurin coefficients of an entire function f(z)ε S',so that there exists a parabolic region H, free of zeros of f(z) and all its partial aums, in the right-half plane symmetric about the nonegative real axis. Moreover, we study the asymtotic bahavior of the width function Gf of f(z)ε S' and solve a conjecture an Gf partially.Item type:Item, 遞歸多項式零點之分布區域(交大學刊編輯委員會, 1978-04) ;倪維城W.C.NiThis paper primarily investigates on the distribution of zeros of polynomials under certain conditions. The idea is to transform such a problem of zero into a problem of eigenvalues of some related matrix, and apply the Gerschgorin theorem or its generalization to produce upper bounds for the zeros concerned.
