    A top-gate transistor array substrate includes a transparent substrate with a plane, an ion release layer, a pixel array, and a first insulating layer. The ion release layer is disposed on the transparent substrate and completely covers the plane. The pixel array is disposed on the ion release layer and includes a plurality of transistors and a plurality of pixel electrodes. Each of the transistors includes a source, a drain, a gate and a MOS (metal oxide semiconductor) layer. The drain, the source and the MOS layer are disposed on the ion release layer. The pixel electrodes are electrically connected to the drains respectively. The gate is disposed above the MOS layer. The first insulating layer is disposed between the MOS layers and the gates. The MOS layer contacts the ion release layer. The ion release layer can release a plurality of ions into the MOS layers.

    A color sequential image method for displaying images using two color fields includes analyzing and sorting percentages of a plurality of colors constituting an input color image, in which a first color possesses a most percentage, a second color possesses a middle percentage, and a third color possesses a third percentage. The method further includes forming a first color field image according to the first color and the third color, and a second color field image according to the second color and the third color.

    This study examines the effect of adding magnesium (Mg) at Codrubrene heterointerfaces by using synchrotron-radiation photoetnission spectroscopy. The heterointerface was obtained by depositing C-60 on a 4-angstrom Mg/rubrene surface. The photoemission spectra showed that the added Mg preferentially interacts with and transfers negative charges to C-60. The interfacial dipole potential was significantly enlarged, as was the separation between the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital of C-60 and the highest occupied molecular orbital of rubrene. The results demonstrate that the addition of Mg should be an effective method for improving the efficiency of light- and current-generating devices. (C) 2013 AlP Publishing LLC.
