本發明係有關於一種晶片電感結構及其製造方法，其包含一基板、一多孔層、複數導體與一電感，多孔層設置於基板上方且有複數孔洞，該些導體分別設於該些孔洞，電感設置於多孔層上方。本發明藉由該些導體作為核心，如此可增加電感值，且可縮小晶片電感的面積，並降低生產成本，此外本發明之製造方法簡單，且相容於CMOS製程，而可降低生產成本。

一種影像環境邊界之動態設定方法，及應用該動態設定方法的人員活動內容之即時判定方法，所述的人員活動內容之即時判定方法包括：以預定角度擷取初始環境影像，俾計算出初始環境影像中的目標物及環境邊界之邊界設定關係式；利用移動平台以任意角度擷取包含目標物之動態環境影像，並利用邊界設定關係式及動態環境影像中的目標物位置計算出對應於動態環境影像之環境邊界；辨識出動態環境影像中的人員影像，並記錄人員影像的停留時間，且利用人員影像辨識出人員姿態；以及依據動態環境影像之環境邊界及所辨識出的人員影像判斷出人員所處區域，並利用人員所處區域、人員姿態及停留時間即時地判定出人員活動內容。
Topographical control of cell-cell interaction in C6 glioma by nanodot arrays

Nanotopography modulates the physiological behavior of cells and cell-cell interactions, but the manner of communication remains unclear. Cell networking ( syncytium) of astroglia provides the optimal microenvironment for communication of the nervous system. C6 glioma cells were seeded on nanodot arrays with dot diameters ranging from 10 to 200 nm. Cell viability, morphology, cytoskeleton, and adhesion showed optimal cell growth on 50-nm nanodots if sufficient incubation was allowed. In particular, the astrocytic syncytium level maximized at 50 nm. The gap junction protein Cx43 showed size-dependent and time-dependent transport from the nucleus to the cell membrane. The transport efficiency was greatly enhanced by incubation on 50-nm nanodots. In summary, nanotopography is capable of modulating cell behavior and influencing the cell-cell interactions of astrocytes. By fine-tuning the nanoenvironment, it may be possible to regulate cell-cell communications and optimize the biocompatibility of neural implants.

Fabricating photonic crystals (PhCs) on GaN based non-polar light emitting diodes (LEDs) is an effective way to increase light extraction and meanwhile to preserve or improve polarization ratio. In this work, a-plane GaN LEDs with two-dimensional PhCs were demonstrated. With the E // m polarized modes (which mean the optical polarization with the electric field parallel to m-axis) as the target of diffraction, we matched E//m modes to the photonic bands and aligned E//c modes to fall within the photonic band gap. The results show stronger E//m but weaker E//c mode diffractions on both c- and m-axes. At the vertical direction, the polarization ratio is enhanced from 45.8% for the planar device to 52.3% for the LEDs with PhCs. (C) 2014 AIP Publishing LLC.

A method for growing epitaxial diamond is provided here. A metallic layer is deposited on a diamond substrate and is followed by an epitaxial diamond film deposited on top of the metallic layer. As a buffer layer, the metallic layer relieves stress accumulated in the thin film of the epitaxial diamond to prevent cracks. In consequence, diamond epitaxial layers with desired thickness and good quality can be obtained.

The present invention provides a system and method for reducing loads of a mobility management entity in core networks. An object sending a connection-request message asking for network access to a base station through a wireless network; the base station receiving the connection-request message and sending it to core networks through a network; a mobility management entity (MME) in the core network receive the connection-request message. If the core network is busy and refuses to interconnect with the object, MME calculating according to a management rule a back-off time; MME transmitting a response message including the back-off time to the object through the base station, and the object sending out a connection-request message again after the back-off time has elapsed according to the response message.

The invention provides a sleep apnea detection system and method. The system includes a detecting module, a processing module, a converting module and a determining module. The detecting module detects a plurality of peak time points of R-waves in an ECG (electrocardiograph) signal. The processing module calculates areas of the R-waves at a predetermined time range based on the peak time points, so as to produce a plurality of first R-wave area signals based on the areas and generate an EDR (ECG Derived Respiration) signal based on the peak time points and the first R-wave area signals. The converting module converts the EDR signal to a frequency signal. The determining module determines whether a maximum peak frequency of the frequency signal is at a first frequency segment or a second frequency segment to determine the frequency signal being an apnea signal or a normal breathing signal.

A method for extracting the feature of an abdominal breathing is disclosed, capable of extracting the feature of an abdominal breathing, without the requirement of a standard model of an abdominal breathing and the execution of a learning process being executed prior to the method for extracting the feature of an abdominal breathing. By means of computing a plurality of intrinsic mode functions corresponding to the abdominal breathing signal received, an Euler angle function and an instantaneous frequency function of each of the plurality of intrinsic mode functions, and comparing the plurality of instantaneous frequency function with a pre-determined zero-point threshold region, the method for extracting the feature of an abdominal breathing defines one of the plurality of instantaneous frequency function as an abdominal breathing feature function, which contains the feature of the abdominal breathing. In this way, the feature of an abdominal breathing is extracted.
Influence of Lubricant on the Nucleate Boiling Heat Transfer Performance of Refrigerant-A Review

This review provides an overview of the lubricant on the heat transfer performance pertaining to nucleate boiling. It appears that the effect of individual parameter on the heat transfer coefficient may be different from study to study. This is associated with the complex nature of lubricant and some compound effects accompanying the heat transport process. Some important effects such as oil concentration, heat flux, geometric configuration, saturation temperature, thermodynamic and transport properties, miscibility, foaming, and additional surface active agent are reported and discussed. In general, the heat transfer coefficient is impaired provided the oil concentration is sufficient high (e.g., >7%), and this is applicable to smooth and structured tubes. But normally structured tubes tend to suffer more from lubricant, yet this is especially conspicuous when the size of the reentrant channel is small. On the other hand, foaming and partial miscibility seem to benefit the heat transfer coefficient.
