In the method, an output switching circuit dynamically selects several conversion cells (at least containing know weight conversion cells (KWCC)) as a reference conversion cell group (RCCG) from all conversion cells, and dynamically selects at least one unknown weight conversion cell (UWCC) from all UWCCs. An ADC digitalizes the difference of the output of RCCG and the sum of the outputs of the UWCCs, and inputs the result to a digital controller. The digital controller controls the input of the RCCG according to the output of the ADC to make the output of the RCCG approximate the output of the UWCC. The digital controller uses the outputs of the ADC to work out the actual weights of the UWCCs and stores the actual weights in a calibration memory.Item type:Item, Engineering change order hold time fixing method(2014-09-16) ;Jiang Hiu-Ru ;Yang Yu-MingHo Sung-TingAn ECO hold time fixing method fulfills a short path padding in a placed and routed design by a minimum capacitance insertion. The ex situ RPD AlN nucleation layer can significantly reduce dislocation density and thus improve the crystal quality of the GaN epitaxial layers. Utilizing high-resolution X-ray diffraction, the full width at half maximum of the rocking curve shows that the crystalline quality of the epitaxial layer with the (RPD) AlN nucleation layer is better than that with the low-temperature GaN (LT-GaN) nucleation layer. The threading dislocation density (TDD) is estimated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), which shows the reduction from 6.8 x 10(7) cm(-2) to 2.6 x 10(7) cm(-2). Furthermore, the light output power (LOP) of the LEDs with the RPD AlN nucleation layer has been improved up to 30 % at a forward current of 350 mA compared to that of the LEDs grown on PSS with conventional LT-GaN nucleation layer.Item type:Item, WIRELESS INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE MONITORING DEVICE, AND DETECTING MODULE THEREOF(2014-09-18) ;Huang Tzuen-Hsi ;Lin Ying-Chun ;Su Wei-Shang ;Cheng Huey-WenHuang Hong-YiA wireless intraocular pressure monitoring device includes reflecting and detecting modules. In this work, we focus on the case where the temporal correlation structure of the fluctuations in the lateral inflow rate can be characterized by the statistics of random fractals. A closed-form expression quantifying the stream flow variability is therefore developed to investigate the influence of the fractal dimension of lateral inflow process and the size of time domain. It is found that the stream flow discharge variability increases with the time domain size, while the fractal dimension of lateral inflow process plays a role in the smoothness of fluctuations in stream flow discharge around the mean. Transient adaptive sub-cell (TAS) and variable time-step (VTS) approaches were implemented to reduce computation time without a loss in accuracy. The proposed method was validated using two benchmarks: 2D hypersonic flow of nitrogen over a ramp and 2D hypersonic flow of argon around a cylinder using various free-stream Knudsen numbers. We also detailed the influence of TAS and VTS on computational accuracy and efficiency. Our results demonstrate the efficacy of using TAS in combination with VTS in reducing computation times by more than 10x. Compared to the throughput of a single core Intel CPU, the proposed approach using a single GPU enables a 13-35x increase in speed, which varies according to the size of the problem and type of GPU used in the simulation. Finally, the transition from regular reflection to Mach reflection for supersonic flow through a channel was simulated to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach in reproducing flow fields in challenging problems. The reconstructed image quality presents root mean square error of 0.03, with a diffraction efficiency of 87%, and signal-to-noise ratio of 8 dB after the analysis. Furthermore, two denoising techniques for the digital filter and optical suppression are combined, in which the speckle suppression with pseudorandom phase modulation and a rotating diffuser are utilized for successfully reducing the speckle contrast, which was reduced to below 4%. The goal was to reduce visual fatigue for the viewers.
