"Receiving a scholarship for my Master's at NYCU has been an honor.Specializing in Natural Language Processing, I conducted research andgovernment projects combating the spread of Taiwan Fake News. Underthe guidance of Prof. Wen-Chih Peng, our thesis paper earned the MeritAward at TAAI 2021. Volunteering at OIA and EECS events during myleisure time, I not only enjoyed the free food but also formed connectionswith friends from various countries, each with unique stories. Overall, I'mgrateful for this experience, preparing me for the challenges of theprofessional world."

[English Teaching Program] December 4, 2023 @ Fuli Junior High School (富禮國中) Today, we had the pleasure of guiding six international students to Fuli Junior High School in Xiangshan, Hsinchu, for the English teaching project titled 'Bring the World into the Classroom.' This marks our second collaboration this semester, fostering connections between our international students and local junior high school pupils. 🤩 Our exchange students from Sweden, France, Italy, and Switzerland actively engaged in teaching basic English and sharing insights about their countries, cultures, and cities! It's a joy to reunite with the students, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants!

據統計，國內有七成的大學宿舍設有門禁。所謂門禁，意指宿舍禁止出入的時間，時間限制一到，宿舍拉下鐵門，任何人都無法在進出。有些學校甚至會在鐵門拉下後施行晚點名，頗有當兵的況味。有許多人認為，門禁雖可達到保護住宿者安全的效果，但造成住宿者生活上極大的不方便，應當有所調整。有人則認為，門禁嚴重侵害住宿者的人身自由，實有其他辦法，兼顧保護住宿者的安全與方便性，門禁這種嚴酷又不人性的設計理應廢除。還有一些人住的宿舍，沒有上述拉鐵門的環節，但設有實名制的刷卡機，刷卡進入宿舍，一樣也被稱為門禁。你認為呢？你所住的宿舍有門禁嗎？若有，是哪一種門禁呢？而你認為，門禁應當繼續留存，抑或廢除呢？
