    生而為人，或多或少都曾面臨讓自己糾結或困擾的情緒，可能身邊有些人幽微點，有些人外顯些，甚至情緒困擾程度再強烈的，就會出現像是憂鬱症、恐慌症、強迫症等等，這些一般則統稱為「精神官能症」。科技與社會研究所所長陳嘉新教授書寫出版《每個人都是精神官能症――一位精神科醫師的成長筆記》，記錄自己從醫學生踏入精神科醫生的過程，藉由跟病人互動的過程，也幫助自己人生觀與世界觀的養成。
