    "As a computer science student from ETH Zurich, I spent a semester on exchange at NYCU—an experience that has been both enriching and transformative. Academically, I immersed myself in machine learning courses, working on projects that expanded my skills and deepened my curiosity about the field. I also took on the challenge of learning Chinese; while mastering the characters was demanding, it gave me a profound appreciation for the language and culture. Outside the classroom, I built lasting friendships with both local and international students. Together, we traveled across Taiwan, discovering its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant traditions, and the remarkable warmth of its people. This journey has left a lasting impression on me and will remain one of the most unforgettable chapters of my life."

Fallen trees from typhoons, trimmed branches, and even cracked baseball bats from the university team have been collected, redesigned, and repurposed into furniture, flower stands, and artisanal pieces. Returning to campus in new forms, these materials serve as a powerful example of circular regeneration, highlighting the role of higher education in advancing the circular economy.
