雲門舞集舞作資產數位典藏計畫（Ⅲ）

Abstract

雲門舞集成立迄今已30 餘年，其所創作的舞蹈藝術不僅享譽國際，也早已成為世 界級的文化資產。但是舞蹈藝術屬於時間性的表演藝術，一旦表演結束其作品也會隨之 消失；除此之外，舞蹈又是綜合性的舞台藝術，它所涉及的藝術創作包括了音樂、服裝、 燈光、舞台、道具等等的設計與製作。綜合上述的因素，舞蹈藝術的典藏就成為極為複 雜並極具挑戰性的工作；因此，為了有效且系統化地典藏雲門的舞蹈藝術，除了要投入 具規模的人力和物力之外，更需要善用現代化的數位科技。 如今，雲門舞集的文獻單位雖已累積了十餘萬件的文獻資料，但礙於有限的人力和 物力，卻只能用傳統的方式來保存，遑論運用現代化的資訊技術將之數位化，並發揮其 數位資產的價值了。有鑑於此，交通大學為了協助雲門運用數位典藏技術，於是邀請雲 門舞集提供其典藏品，在本計畫中建置數位化的雲門文化資產。 本次所申請之計畫為延續95 年「雲門舞集舞作資產數位典藏計畫 (NSC95-2422-H-009-001)」(95.3.1 – 96.5.31)及96 年「雲門舞集舞作資產數位典藏計畫 II (NSC 96-2422-H-009 -004)」(96.3.1 – 97.5.31)。97 年度之第三年計畫的工作重點有：(1) 自 雲門舞集２的歷年舞作中，精選10 齣經典代表作進行典藏；(2) 針對前二年度計畫尚未 數位化的雲門舞集約100 齣舞作，從其中重點式挑選典藏進行數位化，呈現雲門舞集的 創作全貌；(3) 精選舞作服裝典藏進行數位化與服裝Metadata 設計；(4) 修正雲門舞集 舞作數位典藏網站；(5) 全新設計雲門舞集２舞作數位典藏網站。

This project aims at creating a digital archive for the dances of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, an internationally renowned dance theatre. In the third year, the primary tasks of this project include: 1. A total of ten representative dances from Cloud Gate 2 are selected. The photographs, flyers, posters, programs, articles, reviews, and news reports of each of these dances will be digitalized. 2. Selected photographs, flyers, posters, programs, articles, reviews, and news reports from about one hundred Cloud Gate dances which have not been digitalized in the first- and second-year projects will be digitalized to present an overall perspective on Cloud Gate’s dances. 3. Representative dressings from seven dances will be digitalized; in addition, the metadata on dressings will be devised, and those dressings will be cataloged. 4. The Web Site of Cloud Gate Digital Archives will be revised to incorporate the above-mentioned one hundred Cloud Gate dances. 5. A new Web site for Cloud Gate 2 Digital Archiveswill be designed as well; it will have a totally different style from the Web Site of Cloud Gate Digital Archives.
