摘要: 台北南港軟體工業園區與新竹科學園區間常因高速公路與地方聯絡道路即時資訊不足、旅行時間不確定,造成用路人之旅行績效不彰,亦間接地降低經濟之發展。究其原因,主要是因用路人無法有效地掌握路況,進而對旅次之出發時間、路徑選擇、乃至於旅行時間等皆無法進行有效之決策與預估。因此本示範計畫之目的為利用先進之運輸、通訊與資訊等科技,規劃路況偵測與資訊收發系統,發展旅行時間預測模式,結合個人資訊收發系統以建置智慧型運輸走廊交通動態資訊系統,並將高快速公路與都會區交通資訊與控制介面進行監控機制之整合,以期透過高速公路資訊與都市道路資訊系統之結合應用,使用路人行駛於運輸走廊,能獲得更精確、更廣泛之交通資訊,藉以導引用路人充分利用替代道路以避開壅塞路段,達到提高路網使用效率目的或在出發時即選擇適當的替選運具。
This demonstration project considers an Intelligent Transportation System focused on the corridor between Nankang Software Park and Hsinchu Science Industrial Park. At present, traffic and travel time information on this corridor is not sufficient for travelers traveling along the corridor. With this insufficient information, performance of the road network would be reduced and the economic growth would be harmed. To improve the system performance, an Advanced Transportation Information System will be established and demonstrated. The corridor transportation information system involving the 1) personal information trans/receiver, 2) advanced communication and information technique, 3) incident detection, and 4) travel time prediction is integrated with freeway/expressway and urban traffic control center to provide the travelers with more extensive and accurate information. With this system, travelers can make full use of alternative roads or modes to avoid congestion and improve the network efficiency.
