Passively Synchronized Two-Color Polarization Additive Pulse Mode-Locked Fiber Lasers

Abstract

Passive synchronization and polarization additive pulse mode-locking techniques are combined to generate simultaneously the 1.03 mu m and 1.53 mu m ultrashort pulses at the same pulse repetition rates from synchronized Yb-fiber and Er-fiber mode-locked lasers. (C)2008 Optical Society of America
